Zayn Malik Burns Car In ‘Shameless’ Town As Rival Arjun Emerges

Zayn Malik is revealing more details about his upcoming Mind of Mine solo album release on March 25, and while he is setting a car on fire for a new video, his rival is right around the corner … also looking handsome.

Zayn Malik has recently returned to England from Los Angeles to make a video, and this has brought up the fact that Zayn has defined U.K. music. It has also reminded the U.K. press that Zayn Malik has a possible competitor named Arjun.

The News Gossiper points out that in an interview, Jake Quickenden said that Zayn Malik has “taken English music to another level” — and that he would love to collaborate with Zayn.

In the meantime, Zayn Malik’s reputation is on the line because he has a new rival named Arjun… if Express can be believed. They write “Forget Zayn Malik, there is a new U.K. Asian star heading for global success. Arjun debuts his brand new video for “Frozen” featuring Sway exclusively with Express Online today.”

Adding to their reasons why Zayn Malik should be worried, Express claims “Arjun is the most viewed U.K. Asian artist on YouTube with 140 million views, and over one million Facebook fans – and that’s just the beginning.”

Regardless of the competition from Arjun, Zayn Malik is going full speed ahead with his new video release.

Manchester Evening News reports that Zayn Malik started filming for the video in a housing estate in Miles Platting that was the home of the original U.K. version of the television show Shameless.

Adding to this, Just Jared says that the video includes Zayn Malik setting a car and motorcycle on fire.

As far as hints about the video and other information about Mind of Mine, Zayn Malik left a few crumbs for fans on Twitter on March 9. For instance, Zayn Malik teased with a post stating “New one tomorrow 6 A.M. EST.”

Fans may remember that Zayn Malik told Beats 1 on January 27 that his Mind of Mine album would have “between 17 to 18 songs,” and his Twitter post of the song list on March 9 showed 18 songs exactly. This is surprising since MTV also quoted Zayn Malik saying he had about 50 songs already written from his years with One Direction.

For fans wondering which song from the tracklist of Mind of Mine that Zayn Malik will be posting on March 10, a good guess is “Like I Would” since he posted “He won’t love you like I would” just before his announcement.

In the near future, fans may also be hearing more from Kehlani because she is the only other artist featured on Zayn Malik’s first solo album. Kehlani may also be a focus because she embraces the body positive ideals Gigi Hadid and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition had for their 2016 issue.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Zayn Malik’s girlfriend Gigi Hadid recently stated the following.

“On this carpet tonight, you will see a lot of different body types and it is a [Sports Illustrated] issue that celebrates everyone. That is what is really nice. You just go how you are…they make you feel beautiful for who you are.”

On Instagram, Kehlani wrote a brief biography of herself around March 7 and talked about her body image struggles with the following.

“I was never the pretty girl or the overly attractive girl, I was a super tomboy, very insecure…Hated my body my face my features, everything. Yes saying I love myself is easier said than done, and to this day I’m still struggling with accepting what I look like.”

As fans may recall, Zayn Malik is very body positive and told Billboard in January that he prefers a woman with a “fuller figure,” but chooses girlfriends like Gigi Hadid for “intellectual conversation” and their ability to talk “about something political or about the world” — despite his preference.
