Adam Levine Quitting ‘The Voice’ To Start A Family With Wife Behati Prinsloo?

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo may be ready to start a family. According to a new report, the Maroon 5 singer is ready to take a step back from his role on The Voice as he and Prinsloo reportedly plan for her upcoming pregnancy.

“[Adam Levine] has had enough of The Voice,” a source close to the singer told Life & Style magazine, according to a report by Hollywood Life on March 9.

Adam Levine has been starring on the show for five years, but is reportedly prepared to “make this his final season” and move forward with his life with Prinsloo.

Adam Levine “really want[s] to start a family,” the source told Life & Style. And according to the report, Adam Levine said last year that he and Prinsloo would be starting a family “soon.”

In addition to wanting to get Prinsloo pregnant, Adam Levine is also said to be concerned that starring on The Voice for too long may be a bad thing. After all, all good shows eventually come to an end, and he reportedly wants nothing to do with the downward slope.

“He doesn’t want to stick around until the show is in decline,” the source told Life & Style.

The Voice‘s fellow singing competition series, American Idol, is currently airing its final season, the 15th season of the franchise, after the show began to face dwindling ratings, and apparently, Adam Levine doesn’t want to be on The Voice when it potentially faces the same fate.

As reports of Adam Levine’s desire to start a family hit the web, Prinsloo also spoke out about her family plans, and according to one of her latest interviews, she’s looking forward to having a very big family with her rocker husband.

“I’ve always wanted a family since I was a little girl, a big family… I’m an only child so I wanted like 10 kids… for sure,” Prinsloo said of having kids during an interview with The Lowdown with Diana Madison, via Just Jared on March 8.

If Adam Levine and Prinsloo do want to start a family with one another, more time is key. Currently, Adam Levine resides in Los Angeles, where he’s currently filming The Voice, and Prinsloo is based out of New York City, where most of her modeling responsibilities take place.

Although Adam Levine’s long-distance relationship with Prinsloo certainly poses its challenges, especially when talking about family planning, he and Prinsloo make it work with phone calls and video calls.

“Just not overthinking it,” she said of how she and Adam Levine manage.

“We call each other every night and we FaceTime… that’s such a huge thing, I think that’s helped everyone in the world,” she explained.

Before marrying Prinsloo nearly two years ago, Adam Levine was linked to a number of models, the first being Anne Vyalitsyna, whom he met during a performance at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue release party in 2010. Adam Levine was also linked to model Nina Adgal, but it was Prinsloo who ultimately stole his heart after beginning a relationship in 2012 and becoming engaged one year later.

Adam Levine and Prinsloo tied the knot on July 19, 2014, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
