Ben Affleck And Jennifer Garner Are ‘In A Really Good Place’

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are being photographed out and about together now more than ever. The two have been photographed on several occasions smiling while out with their family, on farmer market runs, and on everyday errands. The difference is that they’re still separated.

It seems with every new outing the pair makes, there are rumors circulating that Affleck and Garner are seconds away from calling off their divorce. While we don’t know if Ben and Jen will ever officially file for divorce, we do know that they’re in a much better place than when nanny-gate happened.

According to E! Online, a source close to the situation told the outlet that the two are in a very happy place.

“They are in a really good place right now. A lot of the dust has settled and they have become accustomed to their new life, which is separate but together in a lot of ways. They continue to make the family their first priority and they have always been on the same page about that.”

The one thing that has people questioning if they’ll truly move on from one another is their current living situation. The two are both still living under the same room at the Pacific Palisades mansion with their three children, Violet, 10, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 4.

Although the couple sees each other every day, the two enjoyed a night out without the kids recently, as they were spotted at the Vanity Fair Oscar party. They didn’t arrive together, but they did spend some time with each other and shared a quick kiss. Garner also complimented Affleck on his look for the night.

As for their current living arrangement, a source said that they have no plans to move out of their home, explaining, “They will continue to live in the house together and have no plans to change that arrangement.”

When the two had announced that they were going to divorce after 10 years of marriage, it was suspected that Affleck was renting a house down the block, but it looks like those plans have been abandoned.

In fact, when they announced their divorce, they decided to take their kids on a family vacation to the Bahamas. The family vacations haven’t stopped there, as the two took their kids on two separate occasions to Montana for some fun in the snow. The two own property at the private Big Sky Lodge, and the second time around, they brought Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and his wife Gisele.

The only public acknowledgement of their impending divorce has come from Jennifer Garner. Recently, the actress opened up about the painful time in a Vanity Fair profile.

Of her relationship with Affleck, she said, “I didn’t marry the big fat movie star; I married him. And I would go back and remake that decision. I ran down the beach to him, and I would again. You can’t have these three babies and so much of what we had. He’s the love of my life. What am I going to do about that?”

That said, Garner highlighted cons to being in Affleck’s shadow as the doting wife.

“I always say, ‘When his sun shines on you, you feel it.’ But when the sun is shining elsewhere, it’s cold. He can cast quite a shadow.”

Weeks after their announcement, rumors started circulating that Ben had an affair with the kids’ former nanny Christine Ouzounian. Although Affleck’s camp has vehemently denied this, Garner was open to talking about the news, given that every publication out there had put their own spin on it.

“Let me just tell you something. We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny. She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce. She was not a part of the equation.”

If there was something romantic between Affleck and Ouzounian after their family fell apart, she simply called it a “bad judgment” on Affleck’s part.

As for whether or not they will officially file for divorce? The jury is out on that one.
