Lady Gaga Reveals Big New Details About “Family Style” Wedding With Taylor Kinney

Lady Gaga is dishing new details about her upcoming wedding with fiance Taylor Kinney.

Lady Gaga made a rare reference to her upcoming big day in a new interview with Ryan Seacrest on his KISS FM radio show On Air with Ryan Seacrest earlier this week, where Gaga revealed that she’s actually getting a little help planning the ceremony, but not from a high-priced wedding planner.

Gaga admitted to the American Idol host that it’s actually her family who are giving her a hand in getting everything organized for when she and Taylor tie the knot, joking that her big Italian family would “kill” her if she didn’t let them have a hand in the planning.

“I think if I wouldn’t let my mom do this with all of us and my family… I think if I would have denied the women of my life the planning of the wedding they would probably just kill me,” Lady Gaga joked, adding that she’s getting “all the help in the world” when planning her upcoming wedding.

Although Gaga was reluctant to reveal any other details of exactly what her wedding day is going to be like, the pop star did tell Ryan that she and Kinney are actually hoping to have a “family style” celebration when the two become husband and wife.

Surprisingly, Lady Gaga also admitted that she and Taylor’s big day probably won’t follow the over-the-top eccentric Gaga we’ve come to know and love on stage.

“We are not planning anything that is worth writing about,” she revealed.

Although both Gaga and Taylor Kinney have been playing coy when it comes to revealing any of the big details about their wedding day, Page Six reported back in January that the couple are actually planning on tying the knot somewhere in Italy as a nod to Gaga’s Italian heritage.

“[Lady Gaga] wants to celebrate her heritage, so they’re looking at places in the Italian countryside. She wants a big Italian wedding,” a source revealed to the site at the start of the year, almost 12 months after Kinney popped the question to Gaga on Valentine’s Day 2015.

However, Life & Style reported just weeks after Page Six’s initial report that Lady Gaga and Kinney were actually eyeing a mansion in Malibu for their ceremony.

“The estate is set in the hills above Malibu and is surrounded by undeveloped mountains,” a source close to Gaga supposedly told Life & Style of Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney’s big wedding plans, adding that Gaga calls the estate the “closest thing to heaven.”

The site also revealed that Gaga is planning to bring in hundreds of flowers from Sea Lily Malibu and will also be shipping in plenty of champagne for her lucky guests, which Life & Style is alleging will include more than a few A-list guests when Lady Gaga walks down the aisle

Revealing that the superstar is asking her friend and former duet partner Tony Bennett to sing at the ceremony, the source added to the site that Gaga’s “lucky celeb pals,” including Kelly Osbourne, Beyoncé, and Donatella Versace, will all be invited to the ceremony.

But while both Gaga and Kinney are staying tight-lipped on their ceremony, Gaga did speak out about how Taylor proposed to her just days after he popped the question in February 2015 in a candid interview with Access Hollywood.

“First he gave me a Ring Pop. That was kind of amazing and I was crying, I was so excited,” Gaga revealed of the romantic Valentine’s Day proposal. “I said, ‘Yes!’ right away and then he pulled out the heart-shaped diamond.”

“First it was candy. I was happy with the candy,” Lady Gaga joked.
