Khloe Kardashian Talks About O.J. Simpson Paternity Rumors
Khloe Kardashian has been plagued by rumors that she’s not a real Kardashian for years. The youngest of the Kardashian girls has dealt with speculation that Robert Kardashian is not her father, and that she’s actually a product of a Kris Jenner affair, possibly with O.J. Simpson.
While the Kardashian family have denied the rumors and danced around really speaking about them in depth, Khloe Kardashian opened up about the O.J. Simpson paternity rumors on her show, Kocktails With Khloe, and expressed her anger over the rumors and the former step-mother who started them.
According to Radar Online, Khloe Kardashian’s former step-mother, Jan Ashley, who was married to Robert Kardashian before the time of his tragic death, has spoken out, saying that Robert had doubts that Khloe was his child, and thought that his former best friend O.J. Simpson could have possibly fathered her.
“The thing that most became overwhelming was when the stuff happened with one of my dad’s wives.”
According to Jan Ashley, who was married to Robert from 1998 to 1999, Robert Kardashian voiced his concerns of Khloe Kardashian’s paternity to her.
“Robert said, ‘Oh my God, he’s so black, he has curly hair, so does Khloe. Oh my God, you think it’s him?’ ” Ashley claims Robert told her during their time together.
Of course, Khloe Kardashian, being perhaps the most outspoken in her family, addressed Ashley’s claims, and the timing of her decision to speak out on them, which was 10 years after her father’s death from cancer.
“She wanted to come out 10 years after my dad passed away and say I’m not my dad’s daughter. And he confided in her. I was like you can talk about me and my sisters all you f**king want. Do not talk about my dad.”
Khloe Kardashian says the thing that makes her so upset is that her father isn’t here to defend himself against his former wife’s allegations.
Although Robert Kardashian has been dead for 13 years, his name is still very much in the headlines thanks to FX’s new true crime drama, American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson, which tells the story of the O.J. murder case and all the main players who impacted the trial. Since Robert was not only O.J. Simpson’s best friend, but one of the lawyers who helped to get him acquitted, he is very much apart of the show. Even the Kardashian children, Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Rob, have been seen at times during a few episodes.
Recently, others things from the past having to do with Robert Kardashian’s close friend, O.J. Simpson, have come to light. Last week, Khloe Kardashian’s former “Uncle O.J.” was back in the news again after it was revealed that a knife had allegedly been found buried on the property where he lived during the time of the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman. Could this be the murder weapon?
Although the knife has reportedly been kept from the police for nearly 20 years, the L.A.P.D. now has the knife in their custody and are doing DNA testing on the weapon. While O.J. Simpson could never be tried from the crime again under the double jeopardy law, any new evidence surrounding anyone who may have helped Simpson could be found, and lead to an arrest.
