How rude! Over the weekend, Miley Cyrus posted a throwback photo of Jodie Sweetin on Instagram as a joke, but fans didn't take it too well. Now the Fuller House star is speaking out about Miley's insensitive Instagram post.
Jodie Sweetin is making waves for her acting on Fuller House and her appearance on the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars. After Full House ended in 1995, Sweetin's life spiraled out of control due to her struggle with drug and alcohol addiction. Now she's back and better than ever, and is even celebrating her five years of sobriety this month.
Miley Cyrus is not letting Jodie forget about her past, though. On Saturday, she took to Instagram to post a throwback photo of Jodie grinding on a photoshopped Dave Coulier with the caption, "Current Mood #fullerhouse"
Cyrus then received some much-deserved backlash from her own fans. Some slammed the pop star for bringing up Sweetin's past.
Some of Miley's fans said, "You know this would get headlines and she's a mother. Just wants to humiliate someone."
Another added, "She is now a different person, and it's not ok to drag someone for their past."
That caused Cyrus to change the caption to, "Current Mood #fullerhouse only you freaks take this as shaming! To me it looks like Stephanie is having a f***ing gay ol time!"

How rude! Jodie Sweetin is NOT letting Miley Cyrus' recent post bring her down: https://t.co/u0edUjUOpB pic.twitter.com/kO6uibTUf3Meanwhile, Jodie Sweetin is too busy preparing for her upcoming appearance on the dance competition show to pay attention to negative stories. In a recent interview with E! News, Sweetin says that she would rather focus on the positive rather than the negative.

"You know, I don't pay attention to negative stuff. I mean, I have so much good stuff going on in my life right now, I just try to not pay attention to anything like that."In addition to her Netflix reboot, Jodie will be busy practicing her butt off with partner Keo Motsepe. The actress also revealed to E! Online's Will Marfuggi on how her Fuller House co-stars have helped her through those difficult times in her life.
"We have a family. I don't think that there's anything that we go through, good, bad, or daily stuff, that we can't share with each other and enjoy and support and love each other. We've known each other for almost 30 years now. When you are as close to people as we are to each other, for that long, you become a family. We support and love each other no matter what. It becomes a real familiar relationship where we insulate each other from all of that stuff and support and love each other through it."But it seems like even the media won't let Jodie Sweetin's past go either. There's a new report on Radar Online entitled, "Overdoses, Bitter Divorces & Sleeping With Uncle Jesse! Sweetin's Top 14 Secrets & Scandals EXPOSED."
The online tabloid talks candidly about Sweetin's addiction, which first took its course at Candace Cameron Bure's wedding in 1996. The former child star reportedly drank over five glasses of wine and vomited in front of some of her co-stars, including Andrea Barber. Sweetin then continued to abuse drugs and alcohol throughout high school.
In her 2009 memoir, UnSweetined, the actress revealed that she partied hard with co-stars John Stamos and Ashley Olsen following the premiere of the Olsen twins' 2004 film New York Minute. They partied so hard that the two sisters fell asleep with John Stamos in his bed.
Sweetin also admitted that she abused coke and meth while giving anti-drug speeches at college campuses across the country in 2007.
"I thought for sure that one of the professors would take one look at me and kick me out. But none did. They wanted to hear about the trials and tribulations of Jodie Sweetin, or at least the Jodie Sweetin I had created."[Photos by Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images and Jemal Countess/Getty Images]
