Ariana Grande Celebrates International Women’s Day: Teases ‘Dangerous Woman’ And Flirty New Clothing Line

Ariana Grande is just one of the many celebrities who shared their support for International Women’s Day. The singer took to social media to remind everyone the importance of this holiday.

The 22-year-old pop star tweeted the following to her followers.

Fans of Ariana Grande know that the singer has been outspoken about her feminist views.

She also took to Instagram to share a black-and-white illustration that reads, “what’s the greatest lesson a woman should learn? that since day one, she’s already had everything she needs within herself. it’s the world that convinced her she did not.”

The quote is from poet Rupi Kaur. In the caption, Grande wrote, “happy international women’s day (every day is women’s day).”

Even her new album comes with plenty of female-empowered anthems. She’s been teasing her new album and track title “Dangerous Woman” on her social media accounts. Grande’s fans have been waiting for the release of her new album, and she has finally confirmed a date. She took to Twitter to announce that Dangerous Woman will be available by March 10.

In a cryptic tweet on March 3, Grande wrote the number “7,” which means it will be available in seven days from that date.

Her upcoming album also comes with a Dangerous Woman T-shirt, according to Teen Vogue. The “Focus” singer confirmed on her Snapchat account that the T-shirt is available in heather gray or white for $30 on dangerouswoman.com. There’s also a light and gray sweatshirt available for $60, so you can show your support for feminism in various ways.

Ariana has even been teasing her fans with snippets and clips of the album on her new website. She may have also teased what could be the album’s cover. In a latest Instagram post, Ari is seen wearing a black shiny bunny mask, a rhinestone necklace, and her signature ponytail.

She wrote in the caption, “DW coming soon.”

In preparation for the release of her third studio album, Grande hosted a live chat so that her fans can ask the singer what to expect on the new album. One of the questions that came up was Grande’s decision to change the title of the album from Moonlight. Grande also revealed what being a “dangerous woman” means to her.

“‘Moonlight’ is a lovely song and it’s a lovely title. It’s really romantic, and it definitely ties together the old music and the new music. But ‘Dangerous Woman’ is a lot stronger. I want to be empowering to my fans. I feel like my personal growth is reflected in the sound. I’m really proud of it…To me, a dangerous woman is someone who’s not afraid to take a stand, be herself and to be honest.”

You can watch a recording of the live stream below.

But wait — there’s more! Victoria’s Secret announced that they will teasing the single during their Swim Special broadcast on Wednesday, March 9 on CBS.

The singer has also been teasing her new Lipsy collection, which includes plenty of flirty and feminine clothing, jewelry, and accessories. In her latest cover story with Look magazine, Grande explained the importance of being a feminist.

“I think all of us have experienced double standards at one time or another. It’s important that we stick up for ourselves and for other woman.”

She also explained what feminism means to her on a personal level.

“Feminism is just about promoting equality — it’s not a scary thing — we should all consider ourselves feminists.”

In the interview, Grande revealed that she loves Madonna, Adele, and Jessie J. She also talked about her friendship with singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, including how she makes him blush. Read more about it here.

Last year, Ariana first made waves when she wrote an empowering essay on feminism. She was sick of the media focusing on her love life after her split from ex Big Sean. Ariana took to her various social media accounts to let everyone know that she’s “not Big Sean’s ex” or “Niall’s [Horan] new possible girl.”

She wants to be known simply as Ariana Grande. What are your thoughts on her upcoming album? Are you looking forward to hearing Dangerous Woman? Sound off below in the comments section.
