Jennifer Aniston has been on set for a number of projects over the past year, and one film role began filming just after the star’s wedding and honeymoon. After a secretive backyard wedding with now-hubby Justin Theroux last summer and a group honeymoon in Bora Bora, the beauty returned back to the studio to begin filming Mother’s Day.
Well, the fruits of that particular labor are slowly surfacing. This week, fans of the star were able to catch the first sneak teaser clip from the flick that also stars Julia Roberts, Kate Hudson, and Jason Sudeikis. Additionally, the poster to advertise the film to movie buffs was also revealed.

This latest holiday film with a star-studded ensemble of actors was directed by Gary Marshall, who is eager for both adults and kids to enjoy their work. E! shares as to details of the poster and the film’s catchy slogan, along with what fans can expect from the movie.
“The poster shows Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts, Kate Hudson and Jason Sudeikis along with the tagline ‘Come Celebrate the Mother of All Holidays.’ The star-studded movie tells the intertwining stories of a group of moms and their kids.”
The varying story lines, which intertwine throughout the film, are all touching and pertinent relationships of mothers, fathers, and their children. Marshall ensured to share his excitement over the star-studded cast and the upcoming release of the film.
“We’ve got some heavy hitters in this one. I thought I was done with holidays. But then I thought about my mother and she was the funniest lady ever… so I figured why not?”
Aniston, who is well known for her hilarious and witty character on Friends and her moving performance in the drama Cake, is apparently one dedicated actress who takes her work seriously to bring the best performance to the screen. Marshall relayed his view of the 47-year-old star, after his first time working on a film with Jen.
“Jennifer was terrific. She works really hard. I never saw anybody prepare like Jennifer Aniston. She really prepared everything. I thought she was just sensational in the picture.”
Gary Marshall has had success bringing all star casts together to mark the holidays. Previous efforts include the films New Year’s Eve and Valentine’s Day. Although this was Gary’s first time working with Aniston, he and Roberts have collaborated 3 times in the past, and Marshall therefore knew what he could expect from the veteran pretty woman who plays a Home Shopping Network girl who is a force to be reckoned with. Marshall shares that Roberts was able to select her own character.
“Roberts not only chose which character she wanted to play, but she’s also responsible for her ginger wig. ‘She plays a bigger than life girl on HSN,’ Marshall said. ‘They’re not quiet little people so it was something she could make an entrance with.’ “
Jen plays a single mom of two, dealing with the hardships of a split from a man (Timothy Olyphant), who has married a much younger woman. Kate Hudson plays a character who has been estranged from her mother (Margo Martindale), but is seeking to make things right. Sudeikis plays a father of two who takes on the role of both parents.
Unfortunately, the excitement over the upcoming film is overshadowed by rumors of difficulties in the marriage of Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux. Yet, it seems there is always a rumor or two floating around about this adorable couple that are almost never accurate.
This time around, the story involves jealous that may be surfacing due to Theroux spending time with Zoolander 2 co-star Kristen Wiig. A source spoke on the apparent jealousy that may be threatening the marriage of Jen and Justin, as Youth Health magazine reports.
“Justin and Kristen have gotten closer since they made ‘Zoolander 2’ together and Jen is very jealous. She’s insecure, and the fact that Kristen is attractive and funny doesn’t help!”
