Kim Kardashian Divorce: Stress Of Her $1 Billion Split With Kanye West Is Reportedly Taking A Toll On Kim

Kim Kardashian is reportedly nearing a very costly divorce from husband Kanye West, and rumors indicate that it’s taking quite the toll on the reality television star.

There have been rumors swirling for weeks — even months — that Kim and Kanye’s marriage is falling apart as jealousy, fighting, and possible infidelity has brought them to the brink of divorce.

Now, it could be starting to show in their daily lives as well. Celeb Dirty Laundry reported that the divorce is starting to wear down on Kim Kardashian, which was evident in a recent episode in which North West took a tumble while under Kim’s care.

“Kim Kardashian marched ahead of her young daughter and let her fend for herself, while holding another youngster’s hand – and North hit the pavement…HARD. Kids are clumsy, and not having her shoes tied probably had something to do with it, but the fact that Kim was oblivious to North’s fall behind her as she paraded in front of the paps is not a good look.”

“In Kim’s defense, divorce is enough to distract any mother. We all know a stellar mom who let her parenting slide during a messy break-up with her hubby. But, it’s Kim Kardashian – so even if she wasn’t in the midst of a divorce, it’s pretty safe to say that there would be something else distracting her from her kids.”

It’s difficult to tell if that’s actually a sign that Kim Kardashian is headed toward divorce or just an everyday moment in parenting a clumsy toddler. Kim and Kanye have been surrounded by divorce rumors stretching back several months now, and at times it seems as if any incident at all is taken as a sign of their inevitable split.

But despite the celebrity news media’s love of Kim and Kanye drama, in the past few weeks it seems that the couple has actually hit quite a rough patch. Stories about their possible divorce that are usually relegated to the corners of the internet have been splashed across major celebrity news sites, including a recent report from In Touch Weekly that claimed Kim Kardashian kicked her husband out of the house after a 4 a.m. fight.

The fight reportedly took place a few hours before Kanye’s Yeezy Season 3 fashion show and album release party back in February. The couple was staying at the swanky Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York City when Kanye reportedly snapped, yelling at staffers.

The rapper yelled, “I am Kanye West and my wife is Kim f*****g Kardashian,” a source told In Touch Weekly.

The source said that Kim Kardashian was horrified at his behavior, which had driven her to the idea of divorce.

“[Kim’s] embarrassed to no end over his gargantuan ego and ridiculous tweets,” the source says. “By the end of Fashion Week, she just wanted to crawl into a hole and hide.”

Hollywood Life also reported on the possible divorce, which could involve as much as $1 billion of collective assets that would have to be divvied up between the couple.

Within a few days of these divorce reports, Kim Kardashian was spotted out without her wedding ring.

“Making a statement? Kim Kardashian left her wedding ring at home this week while out and about in L.A., fueling rumors of a divorce from Kanye West after his bizarre antics in recent weeks,” Radar Online noted.

If there is some major relationship drama going on, the couple isn’t letting on. Neither Kanye West nor Kim Kardashian have addressed the divorce rumors, and Kim appears to be putting up a good face on social media, sharing pictures of the family on her Instagram page.
