The WWE Hall of Fame has a new class every year, and 2016 is going to be no different. So far, Sting is leading in 2016, along with The Godfather, The Fabulous Freebirds, and Big Boss Man who was announced on Monday. There have been some possible leaks here and there, but it looks like one of the names may have been wrong. WWE Magazine may have accidentally revealed the final two inductees on Monday, and they are Jacqueline and Stan Hansen.
In the past couple of weeks, Sting was announced as the first member of this year’s class who will go into the hall the night before WrestleMania 32. After him, separate announcements were made for the Freebirds and the Godfather. WWE announced on Monday that the late and great Big Boss Man would be a part of this year’s class as well.
It’s looking like a really good class, but it is not yet complete. There are still at least two more names that will be added, and it appears as if they were spoiled by WWE themselves on Monday.
WrestleZone reported that a reader with a good eye happened to pick up the latest copy of WWE Magazine, and it talks about the inductees for the 2016 WWE Hall of Fame class. In it, there are two names which have not yet been revealed by anyone – Stan Hansen and Jacqueline.
Now, this hasn’t been totally confirmed by WWE in any way, but the magazine is straight from the company and well…could be a huge mistake on someone’s part.
It’s not that either Hansen or Jacqueline aren’t deserving, but it’s just kind of odd. One wouldn’t expect someone in WWE not to notice what was in the latest edition of WWE Magazine, and that those two names had not been revealed yet.
Stan Hansen is an icon in the world of professional wrestling and had classic battles with Hulk Hogan, Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair, Bruno Sammartino, Sting, and many other big names. He didn’t spend a lot of time in WWE (WWWF/WWF), but his legacy is still well known.
Known for his chaps, cowboy hat, and cowbell and rope, Stan Hansen was one of the most brutal wrestlers ever, and for the stiff shots he would give his opponents, it honestly wouldn’t be surprising if he’s inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year or any time soon.
If the info in WWE Magazine ends up being correct, then Jacqueline Moore is also another well-deserved inductee in the 2016 WWE Hall of Fame class.
Jacqueline had a great career through many different promotions and during three different runs in WWE, which spanned a total of eight years. During that time, she captured the WWE Women’s Championship twice and the WWE Cruiserweight Championship once.
A little over a month ago, What Culture reported that a possible leaked list for the 2016 WWE Hall of Fame class had come about. So far, all of the announced inductees were a part of that list, and Jacqueline was too, but not Stan Hansen.
Included on the leaked list was also John Bradshaw Layfield (JBL) and Regis Philbin. That second choice would be for the celebrity wing in 2016. If the list in WWE Magazine is 100 percent correct, then there may not be a celebrity inductee this year.
The WWE Hall of Fame class of 2016 is almost complete, and the Big Boss Man adds another huge name to the list of inductees. If WWE Magazine published the right list though, it looks as if Stan Hansen and Jacqueline Moore are going to be joining the party soon.
