Gwen Stefani Reacts To Blake Shelton’s New Music Amid Engagement, Wedding Rumors

Gwen Stefani is excited for fans to hear Blake Shelton’s new music. Ahead of Tuesday’s big release of his latest track, “Came Here to Forget,” Gwen Stefani shared a tweet, expressing her thoughts on her boyfriend’s new song.

After seeing that Kelly Clarkson had applauded Shelton’s creation on March 5, Gwen Stefani weighed in with the post seen below.

Gwen Stefani and Shelton have been dating since last November, and weeks ago, Gwen Stefani released “Make Me Like You,” which she later revealed was inspired by their romance. In addition to Gwen Stefani’s single release, the 46-year-old mother of three released a music video for the song, which included a neon sign that read, “Blake’s,” and joked about her rumored pregnancy.

Since they started their relationship, Gwen Stefani and Shelton have been targeted with a number of rumors, the majority of which claim Gwen Stefani is either pregnant or engaged. There have even been a couple of rumors regarding twins. Most recently, however, the rumors involving Gwen Stefani have claimed she is engaged and planning for a $2 million country wedding to Shelton.

“[Gwen Stefani] wants a corn maze and carnival rides, plus okra, smoked meats and barbecue,” a source close to the rumored planning told Life & Style magazine for their March 14 issue, via Hollywood Life on March 2, explaining the country-themed ceremony would set Gwen Stefani and Shelton back around $2 million.

As for the guest’s anticipated attire, the source aded, “The dress code will be ‘Southern dressy-casual,’ like plaids, flip-flops and nice jeans.”

While the Life & Style report would have likely lost steam, as other wedding rumors have, it was ultimately rebooted by news of Gwen Stefani’s alleged engagement ring days later. As International Business Times explained, Gwen Stefani was sporting what appeared to be a massive diamond ring at a recent event, which set the rumor mill into overdrive.

“WHOA! Gwen Stefani Is Wearing A Diamond Ring On That Finger, Did Blake Shelton Pop The Question?!” a headline shared by OK! Magazine read, according to Gossip Cop, and during her red carpet debut with Shelton, the source claimed, “the No Doubt singer was actually wearing an engagement ring the whole time!”

“When [Gwen Stefani] was getting out of her car for the after party, the big diamond sparkler was in full view and it looks her country man, 39, didn’t skimp on the carats,” OK! reported.

However, while the couple is quite happy together, Gwen Stefani’s rep told Gossip Cop she’s “not engaged.”

Gwen Stefani and Shelton may not be engaged quite yet, but that doesn’t mean they won’t be soon. In fact, a source close to Gwen Stefani recently spoke to People Magazine, claiming wedding bells were a definite possibility for her and Shelton’s future.

“[She] thinks of Blake as the biggest blessing,” a Gwen Stefani source told the magazine. “They share both good life experience, like work, and bad ones, like their divorces.”

The source went on to reveal that Gwen Stefani and Shelton were “not putting pressure on themselves” and are “just enjoying life together.”

“[Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton] seem too perfect for each other for it to just be fluke. For now, they seem happy with their relationship, but Blake is old-fashioned and a future engagement seems very possible,” the source added to the mag.
