‘Dancing With The Stars’ Spoilers: ‘Bachelor’ Ben Higgins Out, Boyz II Men Singer In According To Latest Rumors
It is almost time for the official cast reveal for Season 22 of Dancing With the Stars. Spoilers have been swirling for a couple of weeks now, and it is shaping up to be quite the buzzworthy cast. There has been a lot of speculation that Bachelor Ben Higgins would be heading to DWTS much like previous season leads Sean Lowe, Chris Soules, and Jake Pavelka did. However, insiders indicate that the show has gone in a different direction, and fans of the group Boyz II Men will go crazy over these new teasers. What’s the latest?
PureDWTS has been on top of all of the Season 22 Dancing With the Stars spoilers regarding this spring’s cast, and they seem to have the goods on the last mystery contestant. All of the celebrities’ names have leaked except one, and many DWTS fans felt sure that the remaining spot, seemingly with pro Lindsay Arnold, was reserved for Bachelor Ben Higgins.
Higgins has even voiced an openness to giving the show a whirl, telling E! Online that he wasn’t against any opportunity that became available. Ben added, however, that he would have to analyze whether the option was a good next step for him if it were offered. As of the “Women Tell All” taping, he played somewhat coy in saying he had made no decisions.

However, new Dancing With the Stars spoilers seemingly indicate that Higgins will not be heading from the Bachelor final rose ceremony to the DWTS dance floor with Lindsay Arnold. Now, insiders indicate that Lindsay’s partner will be one of the guys from the group Boyz II Men. Confirmation one way or another will come Tuesday morning, when the full Season 22 DWTS cast is revealed on Good Morning America, in all likelihood, but people are definitely buzzing about this news.
At this point, PureDWTS indicates that they are not sure which Boyz II Men guy is dancing with Lindsay, be it Shawn Stockman, Nathan Morris, or Wanya Morris. Some DWTS fans lean a bit toward Shawn, as he already has thrown himself into the world of reality television with his previous stint as a judge on The Sing-Off. Boyz II Men is an R&B group that has been together 1985, and Grease: Live fans loved seeing them performing together during the broadcast recently on Fox.

Does that mean that Bachelor Ben Higgins said no to the opportunity to do DWTS, or that the show chose not to offer it to him? Right now, nobody knows for certain. There is some buzz among Dancing With the Stars fans that Higgins might still become a surprise 13th contestant, possibly with pro dancer Emma Slater. Many of Emma’s fans have been quite disappointed to hear that she will be in the troupe this spring rather than dance with a celebrity.
However, the gurus at PureDWTS say that there are no signs pointing toward a surprise 13th pair. If hints of that nature do start brewing via ABC’s teases, though, this Emma and Ben rumor could well have some merit. Based on the short clip posted, it certainly looks like this Boyz II Men casting is legitimate, given the rhythm and soul tease with a dance pro wearing a wedding ring. Many DWTS viewers are guessing that this is Wanya, with Lindsay, and confirmation should come out Tuesday morning via GMA.
This is going to be one wild season, with Dancing With the Stars spoilers indicating that the Season 22 cast is comprised of three big football stars, three former child actresses, and a couple of big newsy folks in addition to a few other noteworthy personalities. Will someone like Ginger Zee or Jodie Sweetin take home the mirror-ball trophy, or could it be one of the Boyz II Men guys, Antonio Brown, or Doug Flutie?
