Nick Gordon Claims His Innocence Even Louder After The Results Of The Autopsy Were Released
The autopsy of Bobbi Kristina Brown was released to the public, and Nick Gordon is declaring his innocence even louder than before. According to People, Nick is the main suspect in the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown.
On Tuesday, Nick Gordon’s attorneys, Jose Baez and Joe S. Habachy, released a statement to People, insisting that their client Nick Gordon is innocent and that he didn’t do anything wrong. Jose and Joe begin their statement by complaining how Nick was treated after Bobbi Kristina was rushed to the hospital after he tried to save her live and revive her by giving her CPR when she was pulled from the bathtub.

The family of Bobbi Kristina Brown forbade Nick Gordon to see or spend time with the woman he professed to love during her hospital stay, rehab, and funeral. Nick went on Dr. Phil to tell his side of the story, but he was so messed up from drugs and alcohol that Dr. Phil staged an intervention instead.
“Nick Gordon’s life has been tumultuous since January of 2015 when he lost the love of his life. On top of being prohibited from visiting Bobbi Kristina at the hospital for the last six months of her life, Nick has been publicly humiliated for more than a year.”
In the $10 million lawsuit filed against Nick Gordon by the conservator Bobbi Kristina’s estate, claims were made that Nick Gordon severely beat Bobbi Kristina because bruises were found all over her body and her front tooth was knocked out of its socket. He then allegedly mixed a “toxic cocktail,” which rendered her unconscious, before he shoved her face first into a bathtub of cold water.
“Throughout that time, the Fulton County District Attorney’s office has tried to make Nick a murderer despite having clear and convincing evidence that Bobbi Kristina’s death was nothing more than a tragic accident, evidence that the District Attorney’s office fought to seal and conceal from the public rather than allowing her fans to know the truth.”
The Fulton County Medical Examiner did find a number of drugs in Bobbi Kristina’s body as well, including marijuana, alcohol (ethanol), benzoylecgonine (a cocaine-related substance), benzodiazepines (medications used for sedation or to treat anxiety), and morphine. They did not know if the morphine was from her use of heroin or not.

“The truth is that Nick tried to save Bobbi Kristina’s life. The truth is that Nick cooperated with law enforcement since day one. The truth is that no one loved Bobbi Kristina more than Nick and no one has suffered more as a result of her death than Nick.”
Even though Nick Gordon is still being investigated for the murder of Bobbi Kristina Brown, the autopsy reports could not determine whether foul play was involved. They concluded that Bobbi Kristina died from “hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy, delayed effects” caused by a lack of oxygen and by “immersion of face in water complicating mixed drug intoxication.” However, they did not say that Nick Gordon was completely blameless in her death.
“The Fulton County District attorney’s office even now continues to suggest that there is an ongoing investigation. However, at the recent hearing regarding unsealing the autopsy report, Fulton County Superior Court Judge Henry Newkirk repeatedly reiterated that the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office has had 13 months to investigate. By failing to acknowledge that there is simply no evidence of any wrongdoing, they have in essence helped feed the slanderous media frenzy regarding Nick Gordon.”
The Georgia Fulton County Medical Examiner’s report could not conclude if Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death was an accident or if it was deliberate. However, they concluded that her death was not due to natural causes.
“Frankly, the right thing for the District Attorney’s office to do right now is to tell the public the truth… that this was an accident… or even a suicide, but not a murder. And the right thing for everyone to do is let Nick live his life now and let Bobbi Kristina rest in peace.”
