Justin Timberlake and Jessica Beil seem so much like the typical American couple. They have always been the girl and boy next door types and now even more so. Young mother Jessica cannot find work in her field, although she is hugely qualified. Now she is an under-employed working mom. Isn’t that the story of millions of young American couples?
Jessica Biel, the wife of Justin Timberlake, like so many other under-employed young people, is currently working in a restaurant. The restaurant is called Au Fudge. Of course, it is a little different, since this working mom owns the restaurant, and the young couple are hardly trying to live off her tips. Still, we can guess this under-employed working mom would rather be acting, just like so many other well-educated young people who want work in their field but are under-employed.
Hubby Justin Timberlake overshadows Jessica Biel, according to some experts in the video. He’s so famous that she is not being recognized as the great actress she is. The couple are crazy in love and have a beautiful 10-month-old child, but some experts question Biel’s choice to marry Timberlake. Of course, this is nonsense. Angelina Jolie is working, so if Brad Pitt isn’t overshadowing Angelina, then so much for the idea anyone can be overshadowed by a famous, somewhat perfect spouse.
Jessica Biel cannot find movie work. She is currently under-employed. So why isn’t she in line for dozens of great parts? Some say she isn’t a great box office draw. They claim that people don’t go see movies just because Biel is in them. While she was perfect in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake, i tonly netted $80 million. Biel has yet to gross $100 million in a movie without relying on other cast members for the box office draw, according to Looper.
Jessica Biel cannot find work, but she does have fans. Maybe not $100 million worth of fans or as many fans as Justin Timberlake, but a lot of Biel fans are still out there. Some of them are furious, even all these years later, because she wasn’t cast as Daisy Duke in the Dukes of Hazzard remake. Those who remember Catherine Bach felt Biel was a lot more like that wholesome, poised, classic beauty than Jessica Simpson. While Simpson did manage to fill the short cutoffs rather nicely, according to the Huffington Post, she couldn’t fill Bach’s shoes for Dukes of Hazzard fans who looked up to the fictional southern belle Daisy Duke. Many fans would still love to see Biel in action movies or even dramas that require a strong female.
Jessica Biel, though under-employed and perhaps overshadowed by husband Justin Timberlake, is obviously a strong, wholesome, healthy, and decent woman, and maybe that is the real problem with her inability to get roles. Not many other actresses who exude the kind of strength and propriety Jessica exhibits are working either. Are strong, wholesome female role models going out of fashion? Jessica has a lot of class and also strength, and it shows in the way she walks and moves. Her walk is not flirtatious, nor does she ever look fragile. Biel is more in the category of Jody Foster, Linda Carter, Lucy Lawless, Angelina Jolie, and Catherine Bach. Angelina Jolie, recently featured in Hello Magazine, managed to land a role in Kung Fu Panda 3, but the others have not been working very much either lately.
Until Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake’s fans rise up and demand to see her in the movies again, Jessica Biel will remain overshadowed by Justin Timberlake. She is currently an under-employed working mother who is ready to take your order at Au Fudge.
