Joanna Krupa Misses ‘The Real Housewives Of Miami’
Joanna Krupa was one of the original Real Housewives of Miami stars a few years ago, when the show started filming in Miami. However, after three seasons, Bravo decided to pull the plug on the show, as it wasn’t getting the same kind of ratings as other franchise. Plus, the third season was packed with wedding drama, as two housewives were getting married, and this wasn’t something that was fun to watch for some people — even though Joanna is very thankful for her televised wedding.
According to a new Bravo report, Joanna Krupa is now revealing that she does miss filming The Real Housewives of Miami, and she admits that she would probably return to the show, if Bravo decided to give the franchise a reboot. Why? Because Krupa sees the Real Housewives franchise as work and she loves working.
“I miss shooting. I just love to work. Obviously there were some moments in there with certain people that weren’t the greatest, but I’m very grateful that I was part of that show because it did save my relationship with Romain. We had a little bit of a bumpy road when we started filming, so obviously it could have either broken our relationship or made it stronger. Because we obviously truly love each other, we overcame any obstacles we did have and it made us stronger, which led us to the wedding,” Joanna Krupa reveals about The Real Housewives of Miami.
“I’ll always be grateful for the fact that I got to share my ultimate dream wedding on national TV with my fans. And the producers were amazing, everybody — aside from some of the cast members that made my life a little bit of a living hell. For the most part it was an amazing, fun opportunity. And I’m always going to be grateful,” Krupa adds.
When asked if she would return to The Real Housewives of Miami, Joanna replied that she would never say never. But one can imagine she would return to the show, because she misses filming with the other ladies. Krupa reveals that she’s been busy with other projects, including filming Poland’s Next Top Model. Joanna reveals she would think about it, but admits she hasn’t thought about it for a long time, as Bravo has given no hints that they would like to reboot The Real Housewives of Miami franchise.
But Joanna Krupa admits that she does keep in touch with some of her co-stars. Needless to say, she’s no longer friends with Lisa Hochstein, as Krupa had made some comments about Lisa not getting pregnant because she drank so much. These days, Lisa is the happy mother of an 8-month old son, who she got via surrogate.
“I do. I keep in touch with Karent [Sierra], and I’m very close with Lea Black as well. Those two [relationships] are, I will say, my true friends that have developed [from when] we met on the show that turned into a beautiful friendship that I treasure to this moment,” Joanna Krupa reveals, adding that she may have changed a bit after being on the show.
“I’m definitely as outspoken and unfiltered as I’ve always been, but I think what changed is I just grew up a little bit more. I’m more focused on spreading my empire and just really working hard. I think it’s more about focusing on other businesses, building my brand more. I don’t know if that really changed me in any way, but I think I’m just more ambitious. Maybe I’m just a little bit more mature? No, not really. [Laughs.] The thing that did change is I’m closer to being ready for motherhood and I think I’m less selfish when it comes to my husband,” she points out.
