‘Married At First Sight’ Season 3 Couple Tres And Vanessa Divorce In Six Months Later Episode?

When Married At First Sight Season 3 returns this Tuesday, March 8, the three couples will meet with resident sex and relationship expert Dr. Pepper Schwartz to talk about their experiences six months after the social experiment is over.

In the last episode, it was revealed that among the three couples, only Tres Russel and Vanessa Nelson decided to stay married. To the surprise of the Married At First Sight Season 3 fans, it seems, however, that their marriage eventually went downhill.

In the promo video for Married At First Sight Season 3 Episode 15, titled “Six Months Later,” Vanessa broke down after being asked if she was still married to Tres.

Tres and Vanessa, collectively known as Team Trenessa, has always been the fan favorite couple in Married At First Sight Season 3. Compared to the two other couples, Sam and Neil and David and Ashley, viewers thought that Tres and Vanessa had the highest chance of staying together.

Tres and Vanessa are also only the couple in Married At First SightSeason 3 who consummated their marriage. Speaking to Real Mr. Housewife, Vanessa admitted that it was not an easy decision to take their relationship a step further. She, however, explained that sexual chemistry is very important in a marriage.

“I am comfortable with my sexuality and understanding our compatibility in that area was important to me. I think many people think only the husband is concerned about these things but wives care about sex too!”

In the last episode of Married At First Sight Season 3, Tres and Vanessa both decided that they wanted to stay married. While they definitely shared a connection, he previously admitted that he was having second thoughts. He explained that they both have to be very honest with each other come decision day.

“This is a big decision and I want to make sure that we are both fully committed. We have to be able to say what we truly feel without thinking that we will hurt the other person.”

In the end, Tres shared that he was extremely happy when Vanessa said that yes, she wanted to stay married. He shared that being on Married At First Sight has been a very stressful process for the two of them. Although Tres admitted that he has not fallen for his wife, he remains positive that they will both fall “head over heels” in due time.

“Marriage is hard and I know we have to make it together. I have the faith that we can. That’s why I’m very happy that she said yes. I think we have a very bright future ahead.”

On her end, Vanessa shared that she could not help but feel relieved now that Married At First Sight Season 3 is over. She explained that after they have went through the tough decision of whether to stay married or get divorced, they can go on living the rest of their lives together.

The reality star said that she is looking forward to learning more about her husband.

“I’m glad that we went through this process because I feel we can get through anything.”

Speaking to the Knot, Tres claimed that it would be very possible to find “The One” in a reality series. He held that as long as the couple stay committed and give it their all, the relationship could work for the long haul. He added that they must learn how to look past the small stuff and learn to celebrate small victories.
