Stassi Schroeder: Is The ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Still Dating Patrick Meagher?
Ever since Stassi Schroeder made her big return to Season 4 of Vanderpump Rules, the reality star was seen without her boyfriend Patrick Meagher. She even moved in with her on-again, off-again best friend, Kristen Doute. So is the former Queen Bee single or still dating her beau?
Stassi Schroeder and Patrick Meagher haven’t even been seen together on the reality show, but the fashion blogger claims that they’re still dating. During a recent interview, Schroeder dished about her relationship with Meagher. She admits that although their on-and-off relationship isn’t fun, they are doing their best to make it work for them.
“We’ll, we’ve had our ups and downs just like everybody else,” Schroeder revealed on this week’s Vanderpump Rules After Show.
But according to another article published on Fashion & Style, Stassi admitted on the Vanderpump Rules After Show that she and Patrick were still broken up.
“I am into shaking things up, you know, and I’ve said this… We’ve moved in after going from a long distance relationship, which is like the most exciting thing, to then living together. We kind of did turn into an old married couple and it wasn’t very fun, so we’ve made the decision. We want to try and work it out, so let’s see what living apart for a while is like.”
A few weeks ago, Schroeder made an appearance on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live, where she confirmed that she was dating and in love with Meagher.
“I’m very much in love with Patrick, but we’ve gone through exactly what other relationships have gone through, where you go through ups and downs.”
As previously reported via Reality Tea, Stassi also dished her thoughts on Lala dating James Kennedy, Tom and Katie’s engagement, Jax and his new girlfriend Brittany, and about how Scheana handles Shay’s addiction.
When Stassi Schroeder made her big return to Vanderpump Rules halfway through Season 4, she revealed that she and her boyfriend were on a break at the time.
“We’re just trying to figure it out. For two years, I’ve invested so much in Patrick. I’m realizing that I’ve compromised a lot of my friendships, and I’ve handled things poorly.”
On the latest episode of her podcast, Straight Up With Stassi, she revealed that she was still dating Patrick, and that Bravo asked her to lie about their relationship. The reason why Stassi brought up her relationship status was because she revealed that she had to hide the fact that she made up with Katie Maloney off camera, not on camera as seen in the recent episode of Vanderpump Rules. She revealed that Bravo asked her to say she was still single to drum up interest on the show.
“I hate that we have to keep so many things secret. They made me say that me and Patrick were still broken up. Patrick’s now on the show. Why does if f***ing matter? I don’t want to trick people.”
Up until now, Schroeder has always been very open and honest with her fans about her relationship with Meagher, which is why she revealed that pertinent piece of information on her podcast. The couple first lived together in New York City then moved to Los Angeles, where they currently live in separate apartments, which explains Schroeder’s living situation with Doute. She claims that living in separate apartments helped bring them together.
“It gets exciting because I never know if we’re gonna go on a date or if he’s gonna spend the night. I get butterflies, because it feels like we’re just starting the relationship.”
