‘The Walking Dead’ Spoilers: Rick Prepares For Negan’s Arrival

Everything is about to change on The Walking Dead with the appearance of Negan. This character, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, is going to change everything on The Walking Dead, and now spoilers show that Rick is doing everything that he can to prepare for his arrival. Hollywood Life shared a preview full of spoilers about what is going to go down on the March 6 episode of The Walking Dead. Rick is preparing everyone at Alexandria for what is going to be an epic battle you don’t want to miss.

In this The Walking Dead preview, Rick is standing in front of everyone explaining that Maggie made a deal for them where they can get food. They will get eggs, butter, and even fresh vegetables. However, this won’t come easy on The Walking Dead, and they are not going to just give it away to them. Rick explains that this is the best way to do things because eventually they could have lost a fight with Negan and his group if they found them. Now they will have food and be able to fight back if it comes to that eventually. Rick explains that he wants everyone to agree on this decision before they go through with it.

Comic Book shared spoilers about Negan coming on to The Walking Dead as well. Now, showrunner Scott Gimple is sharing details about Negan on The Walking Dead and how things are going to be when Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s character shows up. It sounds like Jeffrey Dean Morgan is really excited about his character on The Walking Dead.

“As far as Jeffrey Dean Morgan goes… The glee that he had in the idea of being able to play this role was perfect for this role. The glee that he showed is so similar to the kind of id that Negan displays. It isn’t just that, physically, he resembles him. Jeffrey’s enthusiasm mirrors the character’s enthusiasm. Negan is an extremely enthusiastic character; he’s not subtle. There really aren’t a lot of half measures. He’s a bull in a china shop, and the china shop is the world. And he’s not very concerned about what he breaks. I saw Jeffrey’s smile and I said, “Oh, that’s Negan’s smile.”

Negan on The Walking Dead is going to be someone who you love to hate. He is charismatic, but at the same time, he is coming in and killing people. Negan won’t be killing people for personal reasons. He will actually be doing everything that he can to keep the world the way that he wants. Scott Gimple also shared his comparisons of Negan on The Walking Dead to the character The Governor, who was on the show before.

“There are variations, but there is something very pure about that character. Again, what you see is what you get. Most recently, I think it was two or three issues ago — it might be a few more, it’s within the last five or six issues — Negan said something about his past, and God knows whether it was true or not. But it’s the first thing he said about his past, but I was blown away and then I was thinking, ‘Was it really true?’ I think there will be some variation — probably more like circumstance — but there’s not gonna be any huge departures for that character. Other than the fact that he will be a woman and that Jeffrey’s casting was just a smokescreen.”

Are you ready for Negan to show up on The Walking Dead? Do you think that his appearance is going to change everything? There is a lot of talk about when Negan will actually show up on The Walking Dead. It is coming this season for sure.
