Jeremy Renner Admits To Accidentally Taking Viagra On A Plane

Jeremy Renner sure got a surprise he wasn’t expecting when he boarded a recent flight from London to Los Angeles. The actor admitted to talk show host Jimmy Kimmel that he accidentally took Viagra.

Renner, who’s currently starring in the Bourne franchise was said to have taken the rise and shine Viagra drug accidentally, and actually meant to take a sleeping pill instead due to his troubles with flying. “A lot of times when I’m on the plane, I have to sleep. And I’m not a good sleeper on the plane,” the single star admitted. “I had to fly from London to Los Angeles for dinner, and then get right back on a plane to London. That’s 10 to 12 hours. I had to get off the plane go to work, so I had to sleep on the plane.”

The actor had said that the pill mix up had happened when someone gave him what was supposed to be an Ambien and he realized that his supplier had gotten the labels reversed.” I realized very quickly that the ‘A’ was actually a little ‘V’ on the pill. Not only did I not sleep the entire flight, but there was. . . ‘camping’ . . . happening!” Kimmel then hilarious countered that Renner needed, “a new doctor or new friends.”

Although embarrassed by the whole ordeal it was said that most of the passengers were already sleeping during the flight but that didn’t stop a little poking around from happening. “The flight attendants were sort of in on the joke,” said Renner . “They were like, ‘Can we get you anything, Mr. Renner?” Jeremy responded with a request for aspirin but his request was denied. “They won’t even give you aspirin on the plane because they don’t want the responsibility if you’re allergic,” Renner added.

Jeremy Renner’s Viagra story makes for a great talk show story, but is this just another story about how America casually treats self medicating?
