It’s March 4 and that means it’s time for the next Mega Millions drawing. The Mega Millions jackpot has rolled since Jan. 8 and tonight’s grand prize will be an estimated $144 million with a cash value of $94,000,000. The last drawing was held on March 1 for a $135 million jackpot. The jackpot takes place at 11:00 p.m. ET, and will air live from Atlanta, Georgia. There were no jackpot winners in the last Mega Millions drawing, but there were several millionaires made. According to the official Mega Millions site, there were four match 5 winning tickets sold in the states of California, Florida, Illinois, and South Carolina. The Florida winners added the Mega Millions multiplier and won a total of $5 million. There were four winners in total.
There were 28 match 4 plus the Mega Ball winning tickets sold. Of these, 24 won $5,000 and four tickets used the Mega Millions megaplier for a win of $25,000. Three hundred and thirty-two people won the match 4. Will someone win the Mega Millions jackpot tonight? The Powerball jackpot had rolled since Jan. 13 and resulted in a winner last Wednesday.

When playing Mega Millions, you will begin by purchasing a ticket for $1 and choosing your numbers. You can choose the numbers yourself, or let the terminal select them randomly through a Quick Pick. Some people prefer to select numbers and then play the same numbers each game. Mega Millions consists of six balls that feature five white balls ranging from the numbers 1 to 75 and one gold Mega Ball ranging from the numbers 1 to 15. Those who match all six winning numbers win the jackpot or grand prize. There are two payout options for those who win. First, you may choose to claim all of the money in the jackpot through a cash annuity option. With the cash annuity option, the winner receives one initial payout, then other payouts are given on an annual basis. The other choice is to receive the winnings in a one-time lump sum payout.
