Jessica Simpson Talks Spring Collection, Hits The Studio
Jessica Simpson is back with a vengeance. The reality star just rolled out her new Spring 2016 collection and has hit the recording studio with Linda Perry.
But first, let’s talk about Jessica Simpson’s Spring 2016 collection. The singer is the star of her brand’s new ad campaign, like she always is. The spring and summer 2016 photos show Simpson wearing denim cutoffs, platform shoes, and other sexy pieces.
That’s right. Jessica Simpson slipped back into her daisy dukes, as she paired it with a white tank top and fringe vest. The short denim shorts are called “Minna” and only cost $44, according to a report published on E! Online.
Ms. Simpson took to Instagram to share the sexy snap shot.

In the other photos, Jessica is seen wearing over-sized sunglasses and gold necklaces, as well as a suede fringe jacket with denim boot cut jeans. In another look, the singer shows off her muscular legs in an olive green romper that’s paired with floral print platform sandals and a light yellow handbag.
The campaign was taken at the Malibu Café by photographer David Bellemere, according to a report published via Foot Wear News. The photographer says that new Jessica’s collection has a “timeless, comfortable vibe and nostalgic inspirations.”
The brand also has plans to launch sneakers for the fall 2016 season. These shoes include lightweight designs such as knit and mesh uppers, and feature an impressive EVA midsole and footbed.
Jessica Simpson spoke to People’s StyleWatch about her spring and summer collection, and said that it’s inspired by the pieces she already owns.
“The JS Collection is timeless, just like shell pink long fringe vest. It is a special piece I can hand down to my daughter one day.”
The blonde bombshell also spoke out about her popular shoe line, which includes plenty of platform sandals as well as her new espadrille wedged sandals.
“The Navalo woven platform was immediately one of my favorite styles from the new collection. I even wore them home from the shoot because I didn’t want to take them off.”
Fans have already given the 35-year-old entertainer praise for her new collection. They’re glad to see that Jessica Simpson is back in the fashion scene. What started as Simpson’s shoe collection quickly turned into a $1 billion empire that also includes fragrances, accessories, handbags, kid’s clothes, and home fashion. Last year, Simpson celebrated the 10th anniversary of her JS Collection and launched her activewear collection called Jessica Simpson The Warm Up.
Other than focusing on her billion-dollar brand, Jessica has also been focused on her family. The singer is back in the recording studio and has been working with critically acclaimed songwriter/singer Linda Perry for her upcoming album.
Now the singer is ready to return to her music career and wants to collaborate with the Grammy-nominated musician, who’s worked with Christina Aguilera and Miley Cyrus. She was one of the lead producers on Aguilera’s 2002 album, Stripped, and wrote and produced the song “Beautiful.” She was also credited as songwriter on “Hands Of Love,” which Cyrus sings for the LGBT movie, Freeheld.
Perry posted a photo of herself smiling alongside Simpson in the recording studio, along with the caption, “Fun times with @jessicasimpson.”
