Uber Rep Responds To Farrah Abraham Rape Claims: ‘Teen Mom OG’ Star Banned By Uber, But Not For What She Said

On Thursday, Farrah Abraham told listeners a story about how a New Jersey Uber driver “almost raped” her. The Teen Mom OG recounted the experience in detail, even claiming to have called police on the man. Well, Uber has responded and it looks like there might be more to the story. Gossip Cop reported that an Uber rep has spoken out and claims that Farrah never reported an incident to them. However, an Uber driver did report Farrah and she isn’t allowed to use the ride service ever again. Did Farrah make up the Uber rape story for her podcast?

During Farrah’s podcast “Farrah and Friends,” the Teen Mom OG star recounted an incident when she claims an Uber driver in New Jersey almost raped her. Farrah admitted that she’s banned by Uber but the reasoning behind her ban seemed kind of questionable. Farrah claimed that she called police while using Uber in New Jersey after admitting that her “non-boyfriend” slammed the driver into the car window during an incident. She failed to mention that Simon Saran also spilled an alcoholic drink in the front seat of the vehicle. The driver also complained that Farrah was “drunk and hostile.”

Uber spokesman Matt Wing released a statement on Friday, saying, “We have no record of Ms. Abraham ever reporting any incident like this. Her rider account was banned because an Uber driver-partner reported that a friend traveling with Ms. Abraham dumped their alcoholic drink on the front seat of the partner’s car.”

The rep went even further to claim that Farrah’s Uber ban had nothing to do with any alleged or attempted rape. Instead, Wing claimed that Farrah never reported any incident to Uber and it was the driver’s complaint that led to Farrah’s ban.

In Farrah’s version of the story, police were called because the driver chased her after the confrontation at the car.

“He [the driver] ran after me,” the Teen Mom OG star claimed. “The cops were like, ‘You’re harassing her’ and I was like, ‘See, I told you!'” Farrah’s story made it sound like Simon came to her rescue during a brutal attack by a rogue Uber driver. Is it surprising that the Uber rep tells a wildly different story that just might seem to make more sense?

We’re betting this story isn’t over yet. Farrah Abraham hasn’t commented yet on the Uber rep’s rebuttal of her story. Abraham doesn’t tend to stay quiet, though, especially when she gets called out. Do you think Farrah should produce a police report to corroborate her scary Uber rape story?

Now, it’s never okay to shame a rape victim or even an alleged one. That said, we can only imagine that Farrah was, at least, exaggerating when she said she was “almost raped.” According to the driver, it was Simon who sat in the front seat, and Simon that he had an altercation with. The driver said Farrah was just drunk and obnoxious. That seems like a good enough reason to get banned by Uber. If Farrah really had been assaulted and had called the police, wouldn’t they have contacted Uber? There should be a record of all this that just doesn’t seem to be surfacing.

It wouldn’t be the first time that Farrah has lied. Actually, the MTV reality star has been accused before of lying about her sex tape. Abraham told fans that it was a real sex tape and the man who starred in it with her, James Dean, was never her boyfriend. He’s actually a porn star who was paid to make the video. So it’s not like Farrah hasn’t gone to great lengths in the past to get a little attention. Now Uber is denying that Farrah reported any attempted rape incident to them. Is it possible that she is trashing Uber because they banned her and not because someone tried to rape her?
