#Cumberbunny Is Trending, As A Chocolate Bunny With Benedict Cumberbatch’s Head Is Ready For Easter

What is more delicious than Sherlock actor Benedict Cumberbatch? A chocolate version for Easter, the Cumberbunny, which is a bunny body with the head of Benedict Cumberbatch and the ears of the Easter bunny. The actor, who is known for his accessibility, has finally gotten a bit sweeter, and it would be a shame to actually eat him, yet he is made from high-grade Belgian chocolate and brushed with gold dust. Thus, the Cumberbunny was born.

According to the Inquisitr, Benedict Cumberbatch, the unconventionally handsome star of PBS and ITV’s Sherlock, is loved universally by fans for his humble aw-shucks attitude. His female fans call themselves Cumberb*****s, and Cumberbatch has asked them not to call themselves that, because it is a derogatory word for a woman. For a recent theater appearance, Cumberbatch told fans he was not on social media, but he wanted them to “hashtag the s***” out of the show for him.

CNET is reporting that last spring, a life-sized Benedict Cumberbatch was created out of chocolate for the Easter holiday out of 500 bars of premium Belgian chocolate. But this year, they’ve raised the bar (get it, the bar, chocolate bar) and come out with the Cumberbunny, a handheld version of Benedict Cumberbatch in Easter bunny form.

Created by the same food artist that created last year’s Chocobatch, Jen Lindsey-Clark, the Cumberbunny is an amazing replica of the face of Benedict Cumberbatch with a bowtie, bunny ears, and a bunny body.

Cumberbunny is a “delicious Belgian chocolate rabbit with a handsome face and a tasty bottom,” according to her Chocolatician site.

Entertainment Weekly says that Benedict Cumberbatch was never as sweet as the Cumberbunny, and he, or it, comes in dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and white chocolate for your Easter holiday eating pleasure. The Cumberbunny comes with a 22-carat gold bowtie. But the Cumberbunny will set you back $70, and they are not available in the United States. The U.K.-based chocolatier has promised to release more celebrity-inspired chocolate bunnies.

The Wall Street Journal says though pricey, the Cumberbunnies might just be collector’s items, as Benedict Cumberbatch’s star is rising, and he makes an adorable Easter bunny. Jen Lindsey-Clark has specific instructions for care of the Cumberbunnies.

“Do not store in fridge but keep out of direct sunlight and extreme temperatures,” the website reads. “He’s a sensitive little bunny.”

It seems that last year’s Chocobatch has been replaced by the Cumberbunny.

But not everyone is a fan of the Cumberbunny, because GQ says that the Cumberbunny is here, and it’s terrifying. Nicole Silverberg of GQ comments that though he loves Cumberbatch, the naked bunny with the face of the actor is a bit disturbing.

Well, happy Easter, but American Cumberbunny fans will either have to go overseas to get their Cumberbunny, or wait until next year and order early.
