Miranda Lambert Is ‘Extremely Happy’ After Blake Shelton Divorce, Dating Anderson East

In July 2015, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton parted ways after a four-year marriage, and weeks later, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale announced they were divorcing after 13 years of marriage and three children.

In the months that followed, Miranda Lambert was linked to Sam Hunt, and Shelton was linked to Stefani, but while the alleged romance between Miranda Lambert and Hunt seemed to be nothing more than a rumor, Shelton and Stefani confirmed their relationship was very real when they made their debut at an after party in Nashville, following the 2015 Country Music Awards.

After going public (after an awards show which was also attended by Miranda Lambert), Shelton and Stefani proceeded to flaunt their romance on The Voice, which was filming Season 9 at the time, and around Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Miranda Lambert kept a low profile until the end of December, when it was revealed she was dating Alabama-born R&B singer Anderson East.

Miranda Lambert “is extremely happy and content with how her life is proceeding,” a source told People Magazine of the 32-year-old country star on March 3. “She’s having a great time living and working within a creative community.”

During a Saturday night date at Nashville’s 12 South Taproom and Grill, Miranda Lambert and East “were locked arm-in-arm,” according to onlooker Katelyn Nicholson.

Meanwhile, the other ex in this love square, Rossdale, is reportedly moving past infidelity allegations and focusing on his career, which includes an upcoming album with Bush, and his three sons with Stefani, Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 2.

“He’s doing great,” said a source close to Rossdale. “When he’s not making music, he’s with the kids.”

Prior to their split, Stefani and Rossdale were together for a total of 20 years.

As the four parties all move forward with their lives after divorce, Shelton will reportedly channel the last year of his life in his upcoming album.

On March 3, Us Weekly cited a report by Entertainment Tonight, in which Shelton revealed his divorce from Miranda Lambert would play a role in the album, as would his romance with Stefani.

“If you have followed my career even a little bit in my life, you know what has happened with me in the last, gosh, eight or nine months,” Shelton told the outlet. “It is all on the record… I can put my life experience, whether it’s a divorce or my new girlfriend, whatever those experiences are, whatever things that are happening in my life, I have an outlet for them… I have music. I can write songs, I can sing about it.”

In addition to Shelton’s upcoming song — or songs — about Miranda Lambert and their divorce, Stefani has also used her recent circumstances in her own music. Months ago, following infidelity reports, Stefani released a song titled “Used To Love You,” which spoke of heartache and loss. Then, just weeks ago, she debuted a second track, “Make Me Like You,” which is about Miranda Lambert’s ex-husband. In the music video for the new song, which premiered live during a commercial break of the Grammy Awards, Stefani poked fun at the ongoing pregnancy reports surrounding her and Shelton’s romance by reading a magazine in a scene, which claimed she was expecting an “alien baby.”

As Stefani and Shelton’s romance continues to play out publicly, Miranda Lambert and East have taken a different approach and kept their romance far away from the prying eye of the media.
