Watch Demi Lovato’s Incredible Performance Of ‘Confident’ And ‘Stone Cold’ With The ‘American Idol’ Top 10

Demi Lovato once again returned on the American Idol stage Thursday night for an incredible performance of “Confident” and “Stone Cold” on the show’s Top 10 results episode, Hollywood Life reports.

Demi first sang her major hit single”Confident,” with Dalton Rapattoni, Mackenzie Bourg, Lee Jean, and Trent Harmon on guitar duty, while Olivia Rox, Tristan McIntosh, Avalon Young, LaPorsha Renae, Sonika Vaid, and Gianna Isabella did back-up vocals. Rox, who performed “Confident” a couple of weeks ago, was one of the singers who belted out a solo number during the entire performance.

After receiving overwhelming applause on her “Confident” performance, Lovato took the center stage to give the audience a stirring and incredible performance of “Stone Cold.” With the lights dimmed and the audience basking in her strong stage presence, Demi Lovato belted out a strong vocal performance that left everyone in the packed arena in awe.

During her short interview with Ryan Seacrest on stage after her performance, Ms. Lovato talked about her upcoming Future Now tour with Nick Jonas.

“We want it to be extremely interactive with all of the fans, and we want to play new music. I want to perform new music,” said Demi.

Lovato also added that she can’t wait to share “new music,” so those who have been eagerly waiting for her new album better grab some tickets soon!

“We want it to be extremely interactive,” she added. “That comes down to the performances, but also the smell when you enter the arena.”

Ryan Seacrest, perhaps genuinely curious, asked Demi what that would smell like, to which Lovato responded, “The Future Now tour.”

If the exclusive report by Hollywood Life is any indication, those who are attending one of their tour stops can also expect to hear a new duet from Demi and Nick.

“They [Demi and Nick] are working on some music together that hopefully will give them another duet to do with each other and another song they can perform together during their tour,” Hollywood Life‘s insider revealed.

Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas, who are both Disney alumni, already toured together in 2009, back when Nick was still a member of the currently-on-hiatus One Direction.

“If all things go well, they may even consider a duet album. The music has to be there and they are both confident that something will pan out.”

This isn’t the first time Demi Lovato has performed on the American Idol stage. In 2010, Demi performed “Make A Wave” in a duet with Joe Jonas. Demi returned to American Idol three years later to perform “Really Don’t Care”and “Neon Lights” for the show’s season 13 finale. She was joined on stage by the top girls from that season — Jena Irene, Jessica Meuse, Malaya Watson, Emily Piriz, Kristen O’Connor, and Majesty Rose.

Demi Lovato has been getting a lot of attention in the past couple of weeks. She recently took to Twitter to throw shade at Taylor Swift over the Dr. Luke vs Kesha rape case, in which she expressed frustration at the “Shake It Off” singer for resorting to providing financial assistance ($250k worth) instead of speaking up for Kesha and all the women who have experienced the same predicament as her.

“Take something to Capitol Hill or actually speak out about something and then I’ll be impressed,” Lovato tweeted.

As previously reported by US Weekly, Lovato later clarified that she wasn’t throwing shade at Taylor Swift but was just “fired up,” adding that she only wanted to raise awareness and make a difference.
