Ben Affleck And Jennifer Garner Divorce: Couple Sleeping In Rooms Next To Each Other

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner aren’t living in separate homes on the same property, as once believed. Instead, a new report has surfaced that says Affleck and Garner are sleeping under the same roof.

Daily Mail reports, via Us Weekly, that Ben and Jen are sleeping in separate rooms which are located right next to one another. It was initially rumored that Affleck was staying within the 43-acre property but in a guest house. In other reports it was stated that he was renting a rental close to the couple’s marital home. However, Affleck and Garner are actually living together.

The source said about the estranged couple’s living arrangements, “They’ve figured out how to be friends.”

Back in October, it was reported that Affleck and Garner were looking to sell their Palisades home for $45 million and were splitting the money. That said, Garner denied that their house was on the market in her tell-all with Vanity Fair.

In the profile, Vanity Fair writes, “It is not true. Garner is staying put. For the time being, Affleck has been staying in the three-acre estate’s guesthouse.”

Their house is listed as 8,800 square feet with five bedrooms, so they have plenty of rooms to choose from.

One bombshell that came out in the Vanity Fair article was Garner’s confirmation that there was something going on between her ex and nanny Christine Ouzounian. That said, Garner made it clear that they were set to divorce months before and that she was not in the equation in their decision to separate.

On speaking of the nanny, sources told Us Weekly that she “just had to do it.” It isn’t a surprise that Garner was candid about the nanny, given that outlets have written numerous stories for months now about the alleged affair. It was obvious that someone had to set the record straight.

The Alias actress told Vanity Fair about the whole situation, “We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny. She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce. She was not a part of the equation. Bad judgment? Yes.”

She discussed on how it has affected the family dynamic,

“‘It’s not great for your kids for [a nanny] to disappear from their lives,’ she said. ‘I have had to have conversations about the meaning of ‘scandal.'”

That said, she doesn’t expect anyone to hate Ben. “No one needs to hate him for me. I don’t hate him. Certainly we don’t have to beat the guy up.”

Affleck’s camp has remained that the alleged affair is bogus and that the Batman v Superman star only maintained an appropriate friendly relationship with the nanny. The last we heard of Ouzounian, she was out of Los Angeles and back together with her boyfriend, who lives in the Bahamas.

As for Jennifer Garner, it doesn’t sound like she’s ready to date just yet. The actress told Vanity Fair,“I don’t know, It’s just that [from] everyone that I know that is dating it just seems, well…. Men don’t call anymore…. I want flowers; I don’t want to text. What does that make me? What kind of dinosaur am I?”

When she is ready to date, it will be interesting to see how the sleeping arrangements go, given Ben and Jen’s close proximity to each other.
