Beyoncé: Latest Album Rumors Are Bound To Get Fans Excited

More than a month after Beyoncé dropped her first single, “Formation,” from her upcoming highly-anticipated album that her Bey hive have termed B6, as it’s the singer’s sixth solo album, there is yet to be any word on a release date. Bustle shares about the excitement that is being stirred up online about possible projects, and what fans can expect from the efforts on the upcoming album.

“Rumors about the much-anticipated project are plentiful online — and the latest buzz is guaranteed to make the BeyHive excited.”

One of the most popular fan accounts for the superstar diva on Twitter posted some descriptions of Bey’s focus and sound on the album.

“On Wednesday, @TheBeyHiveTeam, a popular Beyoncé fan account on Twitter, posted that we can expect to hear ‘vocals, vocals, vocal’ — ‘crazy vocals,’ even! — on the superstar’s next album. They also described the forthcoming collection as ‘lyrically daring,’ ‘socially conscious,’ and ‘soulful.’ Naturally, this has caused quite a stir on social media.”

Although the news is not coming straight from Queen Bey, herself, the BeyHive has gotten it right in the past, since they shared information about the Formation World Tour ahead of any other source that got around to communicating details.

Additionally, the Hive was first to let the world know that Beyoncé would rock the halftime show at the Super Bowl. And the performer certainly lived up to fans expectations and then some, controversy of dancer costumes aside. Therefore, the publication notes that this album news is not verified yet, but the fan group has one heck of a track record.

“So, while it’s important to remember that this info is unconfirmed, it’s also important to remember that @TheBeyHiveTeam has a pretty impressive track record when it comes to Beyoncé album gossip. And, believe it or not, they’ve given us even more thrilling rumors to discuss…”

Aside from the already noted rumors about what to expect in terms of sound of the album, the Bey Hive shares what additional projects fans can expect will be associated with B6.

“On Feb. 20, @TheBeyHiveTeam tweeted that B6 will be accompanied by an ‘[a]lbum movie.’ On Feb. 29, @TheBeyHiveTeam tweeted that ‘Beyoncé’s album film’ was ‘near,’ urging fans to ‘[g]et familiar with Kahlil Joseph.'”

Joseph has been known to direct videos for artist FKA Twigs and Kendrick Lamar in the past and is a Los Angeles-based filmmaker.

The Bey Hive also shared a supposed secretive name for Bey’s latest project, “Project Lemonade.” Perhaps lemons have some sort of meaning on the star’s latest album, we’ll all just have to wait to find out. The singer definitely knows how to keep her fans anticipating her latest work by putting on such an amazing Super Bowl show and dropping such a powerful single. The Hive agreed on Wednesday.

” @TheBeyHiveTeam also wrote on Wednesdaythat Beyoncé’s ‘Formation’ video and her Super Bowl 50 halftime show performance were ‘just a glimpse into a visually powerful era that will continue to move people.’ Wow. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to find out more.”

Unfortunately for as many incredible reviews of Beyoncé’s performance at the event, she was met with just as much criticism for outfitting her dancers in costumes that resemble attire worn by the Black Panther Rebel group, as CNN shared. The singer also face scrutiny along with Coldplay when the video for the band’s song “Hymn For the Weekend,” on which Bey shares vocals, was seen as appropriating the Indian culture.

The success of both “Formation” and Coldplay’s latest has been great, so it’s unlikely to affect either artists in the long term.
