Those who play Mega Millions should be well prepared in how they will purchase their tickets, making sure their tickets are safe until the time of the draw and have a general idea what they will do should they win a large prize. Once you purchase a ticket, you should sign the back of it immediately. Keep your ticket in a safe place and make sure it doesn’t become damaged. Keep in mind that if you win, you will need to turn your ticket in and have it approved in order to claim your prize. Unfortunately, there have been cases of people who have lost their winnings because their tickets were in such poor condition, the state lottery couldn’t read the numbers.
