‘RHOBH’ Yolanda Foster Offers Lyme Disease Update As She’s Accused Of Faking Symptoms?

Yolanda Foster has been struggling with Lyme disease for nearly four years, and throughout the sixth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, her illness has been pulled into question. Because Yolanda Foster’s symptoms are often inconsistent, many have believed she’s exaggerating, or even faking her condition.

During an early episode of the series, Yolanda Foster’s name was brought up in a conversation about Munchausen syndrome, in which people with the disorder pretend to be sick in an effort to gain sympathy and attention from others. While Lisa Rinna, who discussed the issue with Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump, didn’t initially reveal who it was that she had heard the word from, she eventually admitted it was her hairdresser, and confirmed she believed Yolanda Foster’s illness was very much real.

In the episodes that have followed the Munchausen chat, Rinna has attempted to make amends with Yolanda Foster, and last week, she appeared to do so after first engaging in a war of the words with their co-stars at their side. A while later, however, things took a turn for the worse again, and a Twitter feud ensued.

Meanwhile, with the drama of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reaching an all-time high, Yolanda Foster continues to focus on her illness, and finding a cure for Lyme disease. She’s also done what she can to embark on a healthier diet and toxin-free lifestyle.

“It’s not a diet, it’s a lifestyle…….. #HealthIsYourWealth,” Yolanda Foster wrote on Instagram on February 29, along with a meme, which read, “Let food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food.”

Also on Instagram this week, Yolanda Foster shared a photo with her doctor.

“Optimism allows us to look at the bright side of our circumstances, even when we struggle with the ignorance and doubt of the misinformed,” Yolanda Foster told fans. “We not only learn to recognize the strength deep within us but we also learn to recognize the GIFT of those equipped to give us aid… Thank you Dr. Klinghardt for sharing your 40 years of knowledge and being a guiding light in the maze of Chronic Disease.”

Despite Yolanda Foster’s openness about her Lyme disease, both on the show and on social media, speculation surrounding her symptoms has been ongoing, and on March 1, Starcasm published a report, asking whether or not it was possible that Yolanda Foster was “faking her Lyme disease.”

According to the outlet, Yolanda Foster shared a “sick selfie” last year, which appeared to suggest she was unable to walk without assistance. However, around the same time, her son, Anwar, who was featured carrying his mother in the photo, shared another picture of the same moment, but his photo told a very different story.

While Yolanda Foster’s photo was taken from behind, and showed her in the arms of Anwar, his photo displayed Yolanda Foster’s face, which was sporting an ear-to-ear grin as she held onto her cell phone and a brown bag.

Although the site noted that there was surely an explanation for the very different photos, they also pointed out the fact that the picture dilemma appeared to go hand-in-hand with the ongoing allegations against Yolanda Foster, which have accused her of manipulating certain events in an effort to appear sicker than she really is.
