Singer Carly Rae Jepsen can be called many things. She’s a singer, songwriter and now with a 90210 cameo, even an actress. You can call her those things, but don’t call her a sex tape star, not even maybe.
Jepsen has taken to Twitter to deny rumors that a sex tape, stills of which were posted on Perez Hilton’s celebrity blog, does not have her in it, even if the girl in the video does have similar hair.
Hilton wrote that “it certainly looks like her,” but Jepsen tweeted otherwise, as seen below.
Her representatives are backing that claim, telling MTV that, “This is 200% NOT Carly.” They will also be handling any cease-and-desist cases.
MTV News reported that this wasn’t the first time Carly Rae Jepsen has had a lewd image rumor get in her way. She was linked to nude pictures that circulated but it turned out that time to be model Destiny Benedict, who eventually tweeted confirmation that she, not Jepsen, was the one in the photos.
While the 26-year old pop star turns out to not have made a video where her skin was showin’, she did release a video on Tuesday.
“Good Time,” is a collaboration with Owl City. The song released in late June and debuted in the American top 40 and thus far peaked at No. 17 on the Billboard U.S. Hot 100. It is to appear on both Owl City and Jespen albums.
Crazy morning. Discovered that someone put up a sex tape claiming to be me.Ridiculous. Obviously not me.

In the feel-good song, Jepsen and others enjoy riding around in cars and camping. The video is sure not to be confused with a sex tape and the only question it should raise is whether or not Carly Rae Jepsen can operate an orange slushy machine.
