Joey Feek In Deep Sleep After Kissing Family Goodbye, Only Days Left
Joey Feek has been battling cancer for a while now, and it looks like her time is finally coming to an end. CNN shared the news that Joey Feek is now in a deep sleep and is being told she only has days left to live. Joey had prayed that she would live long enough to see her daughter Indiana turn two and she was able to do just that. Rory Feek shared the details of how things are going now on their family blog. Rory has been sharing updates throughout his wife’s cancer battle.
On This Life I Live, Rory shared a picture by his wife Joey’s bed and the details of how things are going for her now. Joey Feek shared all about how his wife loves cowboys, even though he isn’t one. Joey and Rory now have a few horses, but he isn’t a real cowboy. Feek went on to explain that those horses will always be close to his wife now.
“And unfortunately, she will never get to ride those or any horses again. They will instead be grazing in the pasture around the family cemetery in the back field behind our farmhouse, where my bride will soon rest.”

Rory explained that they have been going through this for months and that even though it has seemed like Joey Feek was near the end before, this time it really is the end for her. Rory knows that this is not the kind of life his wife Joey would want to be living and he has known the end was coming for a while now. They were able to get a lot longer with Joey than expected at first. Rory Feek explained how it is now time for his wife to go home.
“Joey has done all she set out to do… even right to the very end, and by sheer will-power (and God’s grace), she was still here to see our baby’s 2nd birthday. Over the last number of weeks her pain had gotten worse and her health had continued to decline rapidly. And not long after Indy’s birthday my wife decided that ‘enough is enough’. She was ready to stop fighting and she told me so. She said the flowers would soon be blooming back in Tennessee. It’s time to go home.”
Joey Feek has now went as far as to tell everyone goodbye including her three sisters and her parents. Joey then brought in their daughter Indiana and told her goodbye and how she would always be watching over her. Joey gave little Indiana one last kiss goodbye. Now Joey Feek is in a deep sleep and has been that way for a few days now. They are saying that she doesn’t have much longer, only days at the most. She could go at anytime.

Rory did share one last thing that his wife Joey Feek told him before she went to sleep. She said “I have no regrets… I can honestly say, that I have done everything I wanted to do and lived the life I always wanted to live.” Rory Feek has done a great job of keeping fans updated on Joey’s condition and hopefully he will continue to do so. For now, fans can just pray that Joey goes peacefully to Heaven. Joey Feek will be greatly missed by many and her story has been shared all over giving hope to millions.
