Adam Levine & Behati Prinsloo: What Did ‘The Voice’ Star Surprise His Wife With?

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo have seriously busy schedules, so when they have free time with one another, they do what they can to make the most of it. In a new interview, Prinsloo, a well-known model for a number of brands, most notably Victoria’s Secret, spoke out about her marriage to Adam Levine, revealing one of her favorite surprises.

“I had been traveling like a crazy woman and we hadn’t seen one another, and he just let me sleep in,” Prinsloo told People Style of her latest surprise from Adam Levine on February 27. “So sweet and easy.”

Between early morning photo shoots and early morning flights, days to sleep in are few and far between, but with supportive husband Adam Levine around to give her some time off, Prinsloo is likely quite spoiled in more ways than one.

In addition to sleeping in, Prinsloo said she and Adam Levine love getting matching tattoos, and just last week, the couple enjoyed a date night at a tattoo parlor, where Adam Levine finished a massive piece on his back. According to Prinsloo, getting tatted together is a bonding experience for herself and her Maroon 5 hubby.

While Prinsloo is practically a modeling veteran at this point, with a number of Victoria’s Secret Fashion Shows under her belt, her career in the modeling industry hasn’t been without embarrassing moments, and during her interview with People Style, she recalled one particular moment during her very first fashion show in Paris.

“The heels were higher than I was used to, and I was wearing a dress with a bit of a train,” Adam Levine’s wife recalled. “Midway down the runway my heel got caught in my dress and I was trying to loosen it while walking by sashaying harder than usual and as I got to the end of the runway I could feel myself gently being brought down to the floor. I’m not sure how I managed not to fall into the [photographers’] pit.”

Next week, Prinsloo will take to the runway for Victoria’s Secret, yet again, during their upcoming televised Swim Special (the program will air on Wednesday, March 9, at 9 p.m. on CBS), and even a longtime model like Prinsloo is not “totally comfortable” prancing around in a bikini.

“I am a woman after all, so some days I feel good and sexy in a bikini and other days, I’m like, ‘Where are my caftans?!'” she explained.

Not only does Prinsloo admit to having bad days and good days when it comes to her look, as most do, she’s also got a few guilty pleasures when it comes to cravings. As she revealed to the magazine, Adam Levine’s wife names Sour Patch Kids as one of her favorite snacks, and claimed there’s never been a taco truck she didn’t get along with.

And for days where she’s perhaps indulged a bit too much, Adam Levine is there to make sure she tends to her gym duties, and keeps her body in tip-top shape.

“He loves working out and he just pushes me,” Prinsloo told Us Weekly at last year’s Victoria’s Secret afterparty. “I had a trainer that lived with me in L.A., and Adam got really into it. We both were into it. I do a lot of cardio and weight training and Pilates and yoga.”
