Kaley Cuoco Can’t Understand Why Her Life Is So Interesting To Others: ‘It’s Getting Boring Even For Myself’

Kaley Cuoco has been surprisingly upbeat following her separation from Ryan Sweeting, her husband of nearly two years. Despite keeping her emotions at bay throughout the breakup process, Kaley Cuoco perhaps just needed the opportunity to sit down with Ellen DeGeneres before she could feel comfortable showing the true underlying emotion behind the rollercoaster ride of the last 12 months.

Us Weekly reported that Kaley Cuoco sat down with Ellen on her show on February 23 and said that it already feels like this year is going to be so much better than 2015 was for her. It was clear that the actress was focusing on putting a positive spin on her situation.

“It’s been rough, but things are going good. I’m much, much better now. I’m in a much better place than I was.”

As Mirror reported, the worst that Kayley Cuoco could bring herself to say about the events of last year was that her breakup was “rough” and that her year was “very bizarre.” She added that “we all go through really weird ups and downs,” again proving that she is making a conscious effort to see the positive in every situation.

Kaley Cuoco did express some regret over one aspect of her marriage and subsequent breakup: her decision to have her wedding date tattooed on her back.

Ellen joked that perhaps Kaley should have the tattooed on her front, rather than her back. Saying she had the date permanently affixed to her back in order to “remind her” of her wedding date, Kaley Cuoco then proceeded to reveal her new ink job: a large moth tattooed on her back that effectively covers up the previous tattoo.

When asked if there was any particular reason why she chose a moth to cover up her previous tattooed, Kaley Cuoco admitted that there was no particular significance to the moth and that it was just what she picked out while she was in the tattoo parlor. She said that she was drawn to the moth simply because she felt confident it would be large enough to hide her current tattoo.

“It was big enough to cover the numbers… big wings.”

At the very least, it seems that having her wedding date tattooed on her back is a mistake Kayley Cuoco is unlikely to repeat in the future.

“Yeah. I know. I know. Don’t tattoo wedding date. I know. I know…”

It comes as no surprise that Kayley Cuoco’s relationship breakdown has put her firmly in the spotlight again, even more so than before. The actress, one of the stars of The Big Bang Theory, is certainly used to having her every move watched by the media, but this seems to have only become more prevalent once her relationship status started becoming public knowledge.

As Daily Mail reported, rumors began to surface last week when Kayley Cuoco was reportedly seen leaving a Grammys after party with 31-year-old country singer Sam Hunt.

Daily Mail reported that Kayley Cuoco was interviewed by Charissa Thompson from Extra, who asked her directly about the Sam Hunt relationship rumors. Kayley was able to make light of the rumor and to poke fun at the media, saying that no matter who she was seen with, the media would be quick to suggest that she was getting married again.

“Really not! Really not! If I walked out of the stable with my horse, they would say I’m marrying my horse!”

She went on to suggest that the media invents relationship rumors for her because she leads such a mundane life. Talking about her yoga class, Kayley Cuoco joked that “it’s getting boring even for myself,” adding that she doesn’t see what’s so interesting about her daily life.
