Andy Cohen On Kim Fields’ First ‘RHOA’ Reunion Filming, Did NeNe Leakes Attend?

In an Ask Andy video, posted on Wednesday, Andy’s assistant asked him if he thought Kim was ready for the reunion filming to take place the next day. Andy said that he did not prep Kim on how to handle her first reunion show. He voiced interest in seeing how Kim will react to the drama that the reunion filming will inevitably bring.

“No I haven’t. I think that’s going to be really interesting. I think that’s going to be so interesting. Yeah, yeah, yeah, to see how she is at that reunion.”

Andy’s assistant agreed, saying that Kim has so far been very neutral this season so it’s a question of whether her claws will finally come out at the reunion. Andy said that Kim may actually wind up being “amazing,” which he hopes will actually happen.

“Actually she may wind up being amazing at the reunion.”

A big question likely on many viewers’ minds is whether NeNe Leakes, who returned to the show midway through the season and has been seen on the past few episodes, took part in the reunion. Despite her limited presence on the show this season, producers probably really wanted her to show up at the reunion because of the fact that she is such a big part of the show’s history and has a large fan base. She has also been involved in some of the season’s dramatic storylines, such as her reconciliation with Sheree Whitfield, renewed friendship with Cynthia Bailey, her ongoing feud with Kenya Moore, and participation in the discussion of whether Kim’s husband, Chris Morgan, is gay.

Prior to the reunion show filming, Bravo released the cast’s seating chart for the special. It shows that sitting on Andy’s left, from left to right, is Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey, and Kenya Moore. Sitting on Andy’s right, from left to right, is Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks, and Kim Fields. While the seating chart doesn’t show Sheree Whitfield, who is a “friend” of the housewives this season, she did attend the reunion show. Photos have emerged of Sheree looking all glammed up besides Kandi, which means that viewers will see Sheree come out and join the ladies on the couch some time during the reunion.

Photos have also emerged of the other cast members on the set.

For her first reunion, Kim opted for a short, blond bob and gold sheath dress. Her husband, Chris, also made an appearance on the reunion.

On Friday, Tamra Tattles reported that NeNe did make an appearance. According to the blog site, NeNe came out for part 2 of the reunion and was seated right next to Andy on his right side, which meant that Porsha, Phaedra, and Kim had to be moved further down the couch. The blog site reported that accommodating NeNe on the couch was “apparently…problematic.”

Later, a photo emerged of NeNe at the reunion.

The blog site also reported that one of the big fights of the reunion was between Kenya and Kim in regards to Kenya claiming and telling the other women that Kim’s husband is gay and that there have been rumors regarding his sexuality within the entertainment industry for years.

“The other big tea is that the big ‘fight’ of the reunion was about Kenya and the rumors about Kim Field’s husband.”

While Kim Fields has not lost her cool with Kenya Moore so far this season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, even when confronting Kenya about talking about her husband’s sexuality, it seems that she has finally had enough. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, a few days prior to filming the reunion show, Kim lashed out at Kenya on social media, going so far as calling her “irrelevant,” “unimportant,” and jealous of what she has. Kim’s husband, Chris Morgan, also criticized Phaedra Parks, Porsha Williams and NeNe Leakes for adding fuel to the rumors regarding his sexuality. According to Chris, Kim’s co-workers were “just trying to stay relevant.” So perhaps both Kim and Chris’ claws did come out at the season 8 reunion show filming?
