Adele Skips Sony Brit Awards After Party In Show Of Solidarity With Kesha [Report]

Adele allegedly skipped out on a Sony after party following The Brit Awards on February 24, which has fans believing she was rallying in support of Kesha.

According to a new report by The Evening Standard, Adele initially turned up at Sony’s big post-Brit Awards after party at The Arts Club in Mayfair, London, only to turn around and leave just seconds later.

The site is reporting that Adele didn’t make it further than the lobby of the 5 star hotel where the party was being held and, according to an onlooker who spotted Adele arriving at the venue on February 24, looked “stressed” as soon as she arrived.

“I was in the entrance hall when Adele walked in. She looked really stressed out,” the insider told the site earlier this week of Adele’s blink and you’ll miss it appearance at the Sony after party. “There were quite a few people around her and [Adele] just turned around and said, ‘I don’t want to do this, I’m going to go home,’ and walked out.”

The onlooker also revealed that Adele was in the party venue for “just a few seconds” before turning around and heading back out the door. The source also added that Adele “looked upset” when she arrived, “like it was all too much for her.”

According to the onlooker, a woman at the party who likely worked for Sony, “just nodded her head and said, ‘okay, okay'” to Adele before she left the venue.

While Adele hasn’t officially spoken out on why she allegedly left Sony’s Brit Awards after party, many fans are speculating that her reluctance to head inside the Mayfair hotel may have something to do with the show of solidarity Adele publicly showed for Kesha during her Brit Awards acceptance speech.

“I’d also like to take this moment to publicly support Kesha,” Adele said while accepting the award for British Solo Female Artist at the event, which was a reference to Kesha’s recent claims that she was sexually abused by producer Dr. Luke, of which he has vehemently denied.

Kesha has been locked in an increasingly nasty legal case with Dr. Luke and Sony which majorly hit the headlines this past week after a judge in the case denied her plea to be freed from her contract with the music company, who Adele is also under contract with.

The claims that Adele skipped out on Sony’s Brit Awards after party comes just days after Showbiz411 claimed that Adele also snubbed the music company’s Grammy after party just days earlier on February 15.

“[Adele] left the Staples Center in a huff,” an insider told Showbiz411 of Adele’s exit from the Grammy venue before she publicly supported Kesha at the Brits, citing the technical issues Adele experienced during her Grammy performance of “All I Ask” as her reason for opting out of the festivities.

The source revealed to the site that Adele instead went to the U.S. fast food chain In-N-Out Burger rather than honoring her expected appearance at the Sony Music Entertainment 2016 Post-Grammy Reception, something Adele confirmed herself on social media.

“The piano mics fell on to the piano strings, that’s what the guitar sound was. It made it sound out of tune. S*** happens,” Adele told her millions on Twitter followers after leaving the Grammy Awards and being missing in action at the Sony after party in California.

“Because of it though… I’m treating myself to an in n out,” Adele jokingly confirmed on the social media site following her Grammy after party snub. “So maybe it was worth it.”

Why do you think Adele skipped the Sony Brit Awards after party? Was Adele supporting Kesha by skipping the event?
