Apple iPhone 5se New Release Date Points To March 22? Form Factors Leaked [TWEET]
The latest grapevines pertaining to Apple iPhone 5Se release date suggest that the new mobile phone might arrive on the fourth week of March.
Earlier rumors noted the possibility that the Apple iPhone 5se will have its market release on March 18, three days after its supposed product launch. However, the most recent reports are now pointing to March 22 as the possible release date for the expected new 4-inch iPhone from Apple.
UberGizmo noted that the upcoming smartphone might have an almost-identical design to iPhone 5 and 5s. But one of the most distinguishable iPhone 5se design features that Apple fans might see upon the iOS device’s release is the repositioned sleep/wake button, which has been placed on the left side of the upcoming Apple iPhone, BGR specifically shared.

Furthermore, the 4-inch Apple iPhone 5se is described by 9to5Mac as “essentially the 2013 iPhone 5s with significant internal hardware and software upgrades.” Citing a case maker that revealed a schematics for the phone, the post read:
“The case maker source tells us that the product’s dimensions are indistinguishable from the iPhone 5s, meaning that the new device will fit inside of existing iPhone 5s cases.”
The case maker also revealed that the Apple iPhone 5se’s front glass panel, as well as the edges of the smartphone, is “slightly curved.” However, it is not “as curved as the sides of the iPhone 6 and 6s,” the report added.
For those who are curious, a previous Inquisitr report, citing Phone Arena, shared that the “Se” in iPhone 5Se means “special edition.” In addition to the rumor mill churning out release date details for the Apple iPhone 5se, reports are also noting the possibility that the phone will have a cheaper price, which could let the Cupertino-based tech giant increase its user base.
9to5Mac specifically noted that the Apple iPhone 5se, which will have 16GB and 64GB storage options, will have a price tag similar to the iPhone 5s. Moreover, according to Digital Spy, the iPhone 5se will be the smartphone maker’s “entry-level handset option.”
When it comes to specs, the iPhone 5se is reportedly getting an 8-megapixel lens sensor for the primary camera, located at the rear part of the phone. Meanwhile, the front-facing selfie shooter will have a 1.2-megapixel lens. Under the hood, BGR shared that the new iOS 4-inch mobile device will get an A9 processor paired with an M9 motion coprocessor. The iPhone 5Se might also be equipped with NFC chip to support Apple Pay. Other feasible features to experience come Apple iPhone 5se release date include support for “Hey Siri,” Live Photos, Touch ID, and more.
