Justin Bieber’s Ex-Girlfriend, Selena Gomez, ‘Likes’ An Old Video Of Them On Instagram

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are back in the news after Gomez “liked” an old video of the two of them on Instagram.

Could Gomez be missing her former boyfriend? According to a February 25 report by Hollywood Life, it sure looked that way on Instagram earlier today, when she looked back on a memory of the two of them with Simon Cowell. In the clip, Gomez and Bieber were seen saying their goodbyes to the X-Factor judge, who suggested Justin Bieber keep an eye on his girlfriend.

“I’ll look after her,” Justin Bieber said in response.

Gomez’s “like” comes just days after the former pair was expected to come face-to-face in a Los Angeles court, where Justin Bieber’s assault case was being held. Although Gomez was believed to be a witness in the case, it’s unclear whether or not she took the stand, and also if she saw Justin Bieber.

Justin Bieber and Gomez called it quits after years of dating in 2013, but in the years since their relationship came to an end, the former couple has remained in touch, and was seen together as recently as last December. Still, when it comes to a romance between them, there doesn’t seem to be much left.

“[Justin Bieber] has too many things going on,” a source told Hollywood Life last month. “He feels that now is no time to be tied down to one woman. It would be selfish of him because he knows he doesn’t have the proper amount of time to nurture a healthy relationship, so he is just having fun… He really is enjoying being single and loves spending time with pretty girls, even if some are just friends.”

Justin Bieber has been spotted with a number of women in recent months, including Kourtney Kardashian, Hailey Baldwin, Sarah Jefferty, Jessica Serfaty, and most recently, Neelam Gill. However, with his tour about to kick off, embarking on a serious relationship would be quite tricky.

Around the same time Justin Bieber was said to be enjoying the single life, Gomez appeared to be dating a couple of different men, as well. After going on a date with Samuel Krost in November, the two continued to spend time together until December, when she was seen with both Justin Bieber and One Direction singer Niall Horan. Then, in January, Gomez appeared to get back with Krost before announcing she was single weeks later at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.

Although Justin Bieber and Gomez aren’t in a relationship, he reportedly does his best to keep in touch with his former love — even when she’s not receptive.

“[Justin Bieber] keeps tabs on Selena [and he] thinks about her often but not always,” a source close to Beiber revealed to Hollywood Life. “In the past, when he reached out to her she totally responded fast — now he reaches out to her and he doesn’t hear back for weeks at a time or at all.”

“It really is screwing with his head because he is not in the driver’s seat with her. It really is something [Justin] isn’t familiar with and he is trying to figure out if he should let her go for good or not,” the source added.

Selena Gomez and Bieber were both in attendance at the Grammy Awards earlier this month, but they were not photographed together.
