‘Southern Charm’ Promo Video Teases April Premiere, Excessive Drinking, More Drama

They’re baaaaaack!

And if the trailer for Southern Charm Season 3 is any indication, they are bringing the #hotmessexpress into the Charleston station once again. Fans should be prepared for the April 4 premiere where, in addition to shade throwing, there will be lots of booze, confrontations between cast members, plus doyenne Patricia Altschul doling out healthy helpings of advice.

According to the Inquisitr, once again, Thomas Ravenel and his sometimes girlfriend and baby mama, Kathryn Calhoun Dennis, are once again hijacking the spotlight, and providing an uncomfortable fly-on-the-wall glimpse into her second pregnancy and allegations of cheating, drug use, and the ability to still tie one on like a frat boy at a kegger. The Twitter blasts over the last few weeks with accusations of gold digging, cheating, and drug use are being thrown back and forth like a hot potato.

Reality Tea is welcoming fangirls and fanboys back to dysfunction junction, where the gin-soaked cocktail parties are more confrontational therapy sessions than a place to taste the local tapas. Though Thomas Ravenel had said he would not, under any circumstance, participate in Season 3, there he is in the trailer, letting loose on Dennis, and escaping out a window.

Additionally, we get to see a seemingly drunk Cameran Eubanks fall into a bush wearing a flamingo hat, and Landon and Kathryn having it out, while dressed impeccably for evening. And is that Craig Conover shopping for an engagement ring? Sounds like Southern Charm will not disappoint this season.

Bravo is promising fireworks from Season 3 of Southern Charm, and not the good Fourth of July kind. They say it also promises to be “the bumpiest season yet.” And of course fans won’t be without the droll commentary of Whitney’s mother, Patricia Altschul, who is predicting the end of days.

“It’s the end of western civilization, as far as I can tell.”

People Magazine is confirming that Thomas Ravenel is doing the opposite of keeping a low profile on Southern Charm, after his devastating ejection from political life, which seems to have tanked any chance of a relationship with the twenty-something Kathryn Calhoun Dennis.

“I don’t know it can get even crazier, but it will,” Ravenel, 53, says in an exclusive supertease for the Bravo reality series’ latest outing.

And he can’t seem to avoid an opportunity to take a jab at the mother of his children.

“See how many breakdowns she can have,” Ravenel says as he angrily takes his shirt off and mic pack in the middle of a field. “Make a scene, take my baby away from me. I’m not putting up with this anymore.”

Though it is difficult to really start dating when you are in your second trimester, Dennis has the annoying quality of still looking quite beautiful, even when bloated. There is also a hint in the teaser video that Whitney and Kathryn’s hit and run intimacy might have left at least one of them with residual feelings.

But the real subtext will be on Twitter and other social media, as Ravenel and Dennis cannot seem to go any period of time without trading jabs. At press time, the couple have still not signed off on a custody or support agreement, so true liftoff of the fireworks is still ongoing.
