Mariah Carey: Tahitian Wedding And Other Unveiled Plans, Cannon Not Ready To Date
Mariah Carey has been enjoying her engagement to billionaire beau James Packer, who gifted the diva with an engagement ring the size of a small ice rink. Carey, who has been married twice before, indicated that the wedding would be sooner rather than later, as she is looking forward to spending her life with the man who has most recently stole her heart.
A soon-to-be wedding means planning and organization, and such plans are apparently underway, as sources have shared that the mother-of-two has her heart set on a Tahitian wedding for the big day. Although such details have been revealed, it’s also being relayed that Mariah and her beau intend to keep the event a secretive, yet lavish, affair.

“Wedding plans are already in full swing for Mariah Carey and her Aussie billionaire beau James Packer after their January engagement — and while Carey’s being coy, sources tell Page Six the nuptials could take place in Tahiti and involve Packer’s beloved superyacht.”
Although Carey has not spoken to media members about such plans and is attempting to keep exact details secretive, the superstar previously shared that she is excited about the planning process and fully immersed in getting the big day organized.
“I’ve picked a lot of things that I can’t tell. It’s not going to be a big wedding, but it’s going to be grand.?.?. I’m most excited about the grandeur, darling.”
Nothing less from Mariah could really be expected, as the singer always ensures that all she does is grand and lives up to her diva reputation.
Although Mariah likely is the one who has her heart set on Tahiti for the couple’s wedding destination, Packer is no stranger to the location. Page Six notes that in the waters surrounding the location, “Packer’s been known to sail his 287-foot converted icebreaker Arctic P, one of the world’s most luxe yachts.”
It’s no wonder the couple is considering the exotic locale for their wedding. As the publication notes, it will be the third marriage for both Carey and Packer. Third time is a charm, as they say!
Mariah is full steam ahead in regards to her wedding and new life with James Packer. However, her ex-husband Nick Cannon, with whom she shares twins Moroccan and Monroe, has reportedly indicated that he has not ready to date yet following his split from the songstress.
Cannon has certainly been keeping busy not only being a present and loving father to his twin children but also by making his mark as a producer, host, actor, writer, director, DJ, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, as People shares.
The America’s Got Talent host spoke to the publication on the subject of dating and noted that he’s just not there yet.

“I haven’t figured it out yet. I just don’t think I’m ready to date yet. It’s funny because my next film that I’m writing is all about online dating so I’m learning all about it. It’s so intriguing to me but I have yet to jump into that pool. But it’s the new wave so I’m not against it.”
Perhaps single ladies out there will have the opportunity to come across a profile on a dating website showcasing the handsome and talented ex of Mariah in future. Once Cannon is ready to get back in the dating scene, it’s unlikely that he’ll have any difficulty finding a match.
As to Cannon’s reaction to Mariah’s engagement to her billionaire beau James Packer, he has been nothing but supportive and has shared his happiness for his ex-wife, with whom he remains close.
