Sandra Bullock’s Stalker Owns Plane That Crashed In The Streets Of Los Angeles Wednesday


A small plane came to a crashing halt on a quiet street in the Pacoima neighborhood of Los Angeles. No one was injured, and the pilot reportedly walked away from the crash landing and his aircraft relatively unscathed. The following day, when the identity of the pilot was released, it was revealed that Henry Corbett is, in fact, related to a Joshua Corbett, the man who has been accused of stalking starlet Sandra Bullock.

As USA Today relays, it is 39-year-old Joshua Corbett who owns the aircraft that his father crash landed as he attempted to make a safe landing at Whiteman Airport. Joshua was accused of obsessing over Sandra Bullock and terrorizing the star while she was alone in her own Los Angeles home. The outlet reminds as to the details of the stalking incident that left Bullock understandably fearful.

“Joshua Corbett, 39, is the obsessed fan accused of stalking Sandra Bullock, breaking into and invading her home while she was there in the summer of 2014, forcing her to lock herself in a closet while she urgently called for police help.”

The Los Angeles Daily News drew attention to the relationship between the pilot during the crash and the owner of the plane, noting that the owner was, in fact, the alleged stalker of Bullock.

The publication also relayed details of the crash and the damage that was caused by the unexpected crash-landing.

“The plane smashed the roofs and windshields of four parked cars before winding up in the street with its right wing broken off. Fire department officials told reporters the pilot was lucky to have walked away, and lucky to have ended up in a fairly wide road with no pedestrians around.”

Henry Corbett admitted that his son is the owner of the aircraft and explained why the crash-landing was his only option, noting that a gust of wind took him off course when making his approach. The crash is now said to be under investigation by the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board.

The incident in 2014 led to Joshua Corbett being arrested on the premises of the actress; he was later found to be in the possession of a number of weapons, including a machine gun. The unstable son of Henry Corbett also reportedly penned disturbing letters to Bullock, in which the culprit writes as if her husband. He was also said to be delusional after insisting within the letters that he is the father to Bullock’s son Louis. Such letters were found after investigators gained a warrant to search the stalker’s residence and belongings.

As it stands, Joshua Corbett has pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against him for the incidents involving stalking Bullock and possessing illegal weapons. USA Today shares in regards to Corbett’s current whereabouts.

“Joshua Corbett has pleaded not guilty and is in jail in Los Angeles awaiting trial on charges of burglary, stalking and possession of the machine gun.”

In regards to the report and investigation about the crash which Corbett senior was involved in, the Los Angeles Daily News shares the words of NTSB spokesperson Eric Weiss, who stated Wednesday, “The preliminary report is not out yet on that it should be out late this week or early next week.”
