Kathryn Edwards On ‘RHOBH’ Lunch: Does She Regret Her Actions?

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kathryn Edwards may have a few regrets after watching this week’s episode of the show. During a lunch with all of the ladies, she revealed that Erika Girardi had been talking about Lisa Vanderpump behind her back. In reality, Erika had told Edwards that Lisa was a bad person, trying to get involved in the drama without getting her fingers caught. According to a new Bravo report, Kathryn Edwards is now revealing that she does regret how she handled the situation and wishes she had kept silent.

“First and foremost, I want to say that I was wrong in the way I handled this. Hindsight is 20/20, and watching it now, I wish I would have done things differently,” Kathryn explains about how things went down on Tuesday’s episode of the show. Edwards was quick to reveal that Erika Girardi had talked about Lisa Vanderpump and questioned her as a person. In hindsight, this may not have been a great thing to do. It all started when Erika and Kathryn were having lunch, and she was shocked when Girardi called Lisa a bad person.

“After that Erika asked me what I thought about Lisa VDP. I started to say that she was sweet and I liked her when Erika cut me off and said no, Lisa VDP wasn’t sweet… with a tongue and cheek humor,” Kathryn Edwards reveals in her blog, sharing that she was shocked to see this side of Erika, as she had just opened up about personal things in her life.

“Make no mistake, I was wrong to repeat what she said at lunch, even though we all know that nothing is a secret or in confidence with this group of women. What I should have done was question Erika as to why she felt the need to talk so disparagingly about Lisa VDP. Why? What had Lisa done to her or had she witnessed that deserved her labeling Lisa VDP a ‘sniper who shoots from the side’?” Edwards points out.

Even though Kathryn Edwards feels bad about how everything went down, she admits that she wants to own her mistakes. Earlier this season, Erika was caught telling a lie, and it took her a long time to admit her wrongs. And it sounds like Edwards doesn’t want to fall in that category. Instead, she’s owning her mistakes.

“No secrets, I own it. I was wrong, I wish I would have done it differently. I have come to realize that just because someone says they want to be friends and someone else accepts it… it means nothing. Friendships are shown and demonstrated on both ends. We’ll see if Erika and I can patch this back together… I genuinely think as different as we both are, that we have some other nice things in common,” Kathryn ends her blog, adding that forgiveness is something that should be encouraged.

Kathryn stopped by Watch What Happens Live this week, and according to Reality Tea, she was confronted about the lunch. She was asked why she decided to tell Lisa about Erika’s opinion, and she simply blames it on being honest. Edwards doesn’t want to make excuses for her behavior, and she admits that she doesn’t want it to come back and haunt her later on. As she revealed during Watch What Happens Live, she doesn’t want to be thrown under the bus at a later point because she didn’t say anything, according to Reality Tea.
