‘The Elder Scrolls Online’ Crown Store Offerings For March Include Assistants, Camel Mount

Costumes, pets, mounts, and more are always available in the Crown Store, the in-game store for The Elder Scrolls Online. Each month new items are added for players to peruse while some are retired. Most of the items are cosmetic, based on convenience, and purely optional to most players’ enjoyment of The Elder Scrolls Online.

The month of March is no different, and The Elder Scrolls Online players will have a handful of new items to consider buying. A new costume pack, a mount, two new pets, a crafting motif, a crafting item, and two new Assistants are expected to show up in the store during the month of March. According to the overview on the official website, many of these new purchasable additions to the game will be available on the same day the Thieves Guild DLC releases. That date is March 7 for PC, March 22 for Xbox One, and March 23 for PlayStation 4.

The new Pirate Costume Pack, the Hammerfell Camel mount, the Kindlespit Dragon Frog, and the new Crown Mimic Stone will be available on the same day that the Thieves Guild DLC is available on players’ platform of choice. First of all, the costume pack includes pirate-themed clothes perfect for showing off tattoos. Expect characters to sport cuffed boots and sashes with this pack of three costumes.

The Elder Scrolls Online Crown Store will soon include a camel mount thanks to upcoming DLC, too. This feisty fellow even spits. Of course, not everyone needs a new mount from the DLC so many a new pet is in order. The new Kindlespit Dragon Frog is a reptile companion and perfect for players looking for an adorable yet intimidating friend.

Finally, the last new item coming to the Crown Store when Thieves Guild DLC releases is the new Crown Mimic Stone item. This stone can be used as any style item needed to craft a known motif. For instance, players can purchase a Crown Mimic Stone and use it as a piece of Goldscale or Malachite to complete a piece of armor that is known by the crafter.

On March 3, a Freckled Guar pet and the Mercenary motif will be available in the Crown Store. Additionally, on March 31, two new Assistants will be for sale in the store. A banker and a merchant Assistant will be the first two purchasable Assistants in the Crown Store. Assistants take up the same slot as a pet; however, they perform a service. The banker will, obviously, let players and their group members remotely access their banks while the merchant will let players and their groups sell their unwanted items. Neither Assistant can be summoned in Cyrodiil.

The Crown Store regularly offers new items every month for players looking to spend their subscription stipend or for those wanting to pick up an item available for a limited time. March will bring new types of items to the store, like the Assistants which will be introduced in the Thieves Guild DLC. In fact, players will be able to unlock a smuggler NPC Assistant by completing the story arc in the Thieves Guild DLC. This Assistant will fence stolen items for the player; however, she will take a little of the profit for herself.

Thieves Guild is the third DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online, and it will be the first opportunity for players to join the iconic guild. A new zone called Hew’s Band, a new city named Abah’s Landing, the Larceny System, new delves, and much more are part of the DLC as seen on Bethesda.net. Not to mention, a new passive skill line can be progressed with the DLC giving players bonuses like being forgotten quicker after being seen committing a crime and better prices on fenced items. The Larceny System is definitely worth checking out for those criminally minded players since three new types of repeatable quests are offered in the new system.

Again, The Elder Scrolls Online‘s next DLC releases on March 7 for PC players, on March 22 for those on Xbox One, and on March 23 for PlayStation 4 owners. As the Inquisitr reported, the Thieves Guild is also ushering in new Loyalty Rewards for those that own certain DLC. Owners of Orsinium and the Thieves Guild will receive a pet for each DLC after visiting the new areas they each unlock. Orsinium will unlock a pet called the Echalette while Thieves Guild will offer players a Jackal pet. Each DLC going forward will also include a Loyalty Reward, but the reward may not always be a pet.
