Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino Sued Over Fat Metabolizing Cream

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is not having the best of times lately. First the Jersey Shore staple admits himself to rehab to deal with an addiction to prescription pain medication, then he starts getting phased out of the show then he finds out fellow train wreck Snooki is having baby (and that Snooki and J-Woww think he is gay). Now he is being sued by the makers of a metabolizing fat cream for allegedly not following through on a contract he had with the company.

The Situation signed a contract with Performance Brands in which he was given an advance of $75,000 to promote the company’s metabolizing fat cream in his appearances, through social media and in the press according to Perez Hilton. Performance brands claims that right after they gave the Situation his check he flaked out and went into rehab to deal with his addiction to prescription pain pills.

The Situation has no intention of taking the lawsuit lying down. He has filed a counter claim against Performance Brands saying, among other things that they never showed him a marketing plan on time and they never even gave him the product to sample and use.

The Situation recently got done filming the 6th season on Jersey Shore in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. With his recovery from pain pills being national news and fellow cast member Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi being pregnant it is most likely their last season on the show. Jersey Shore has produced plenty of spin off shows and most likely the two of them will be able to find some sort of place on one of the spin offs.
