There were no Mega Millions jackpot winners, resulting in the jackpot rolling to $125 million with an estimated cash value of $81 million. There was one winning match 5 ticket sold in Texas. The winner didn’t use the megaplier option, so they won $1 million. Had the purchaser selected the megaplier for an additional $1, the prize would have multiplied to $5 million. The odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 258,890,850. The odds of winning the Mega Millions match 5 are 1 in 18,492,204.

The third-tier Mega Millions prize is the match 4 plus the Mega Ball. The prize for the match 4 plus 1 is $5,000. There were 21 winners who won $5,000 each. Five people used the megaplier option and multiplied their $5,000 wins to $25,000. According to the official Mega Millions site, there were 1,312,715 winning Mega Millions tickets sold for the Feb. 23 drawing, and more than $4.4 million was won.
