James Harden Cheating on Khloe Kardashian But Does Khloe Prefer Lamar Odom Anyway?

Khloe Kardashian just showed the world why you stay loyal in a relationship, and she did it in a typically larger-than-life Kardashian way. The 31-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has accused her NBA star boyfriend, James Harden, of cheating on her. James is pretty unhappy about it, and a source says that the number 13 athlete is “pissed.” Harden can be pissed off all he wants, but nobody is surprised that when you cheat on a Kardashian, the whole world knows.

Khloe told fans about Harden’s cheating debacle on her show, Kocktails with Khloe, where she pretty openly alluded to the cheating. James, a guard for the Houston Rockets, certainly didn’t expect Khloe to spell it out for the public, and he is pretty angry and embarrassed. If you don’t want people to see your dirty laundry, hang it on your own clothes line. A friend of James told Hollywood Life that Harden is “really pissed” that Khloe was open about the situation. The friend went on to defend James, pointing out that James has “kept their relationship private,” amending that last bit with “for the most part.” Doesn’t sound like he kept it all that private.

“He’s really pissed that she blasted him like that when, for the most part, he’s kept their relationship private.”

The friend continued to paint a picture in which James wasn’t cheating, and was an innocent victim of Khloe’s publicity addiction, jabbing, “But that’s a Kardashian for you.” He accused Khloe of “throwing [James] under the bus” for show ratings and attention. The two are clearly over each other, and the breakup was fast and hard. However, it seems like the breakup was already well on its way, if cheating was going on. It’s not often you see two people stay together when someone has cheated. Fox News reports that Khloe says dating James was “forced,” even through all the things that should have kept them apart, like Khloe nursing Lamar Odom. James’s friends are totally okay with the breakup, and are showing some real loyalty in publicly defending Harden.

“But that’s a Kardashian for you. She threw him under the bus to spark some ratings for her show. But that’s cool. It’s whatever. They’re over now and he’s happy and so are his teammates and his friends. Now he can focus on reality, not her fake reality.”

Despite James’ cheating, there is another side to this story: Khloe Kardashian’s ex-husband, Lamar Odom. Odom was confident that his own chances with his ex-wife were safe, and claimed that Khloe and James dating would “never last,” though he didn’t predict that Harden would cheat on Khloe. Apparently, the other NBA star in Khoe’s life “knew all along” that the relationship was doomed. Experience? What is it with Khloe and NBA stars?

Odom and Kardashian filed for divorce nearly three years ago now, but their closeness didn’t quite end. The pair have been on-again off-again for some time, getting back together only to have it out and break up. Clearly they still have a connection, but what that connection really is remains to be seen. Khloe’s ex has no worries about the situation, and is confident enough in his own connection to Khloe that he can tolerate some “cheating” while he waits it out.

Whatever her reasons, we can all hope that Kardashian meets her non-cheating prince one day. E! Online reports that Khloe is “sticking by the vows” she made to Lamar, and that’s a big part of the reason Kardashian broke up with Harden. Maybe Khloe already met her prince, and he is patiently waiting on the sidelines until she notices, hey Lamar? We don’t know what’s going on in Khloe’s head, but we can hope she doesn’t end up with another cheating boyfriend!
