Kanye West Posts Twitter Rants After Bob Ezrin Dared To Criticize His Musical Genius

Kanye West streamed music from his new album on the night of his Yeezy Season 3 fashion show, but apparently not everyone likes his brand of music or his fashion show. Radar Online reported that Kanye took to Twitter to lash out at the person who spoke trash about his latest album, The Life of Pablo.

Music producer Bob Ezrin published his review of Kanye’s latest music album, which was streamed via Tidal during the Yeezy Season 3 fashion show. Bob’s thoughts and views of Kanye’s music were published in the Bob Lefsetz’s newsletter. Unfortunately, it wasn’t all praises like Kanye believes it should have been or deserved.

Bob Ezrin, who worked on such albums as Pink Floyd’s The Wall, KISS’s Destroyer, and Lou Reed’s Berlin, stated that Kanye’s music does not compare to any of those artists. He did give Kanye a compliment of sorts when he wrote that Kanye did have some good material, but he added that Kanye was not on the same level as other prominent artists in the industry.

“Unlike other creators in his genre like Jay-Z, Tupac, Biggie or even M.C. Hammer for that matter, it’s unlikely that we’ll be quoting too many of Kanye’s songs 20 years from now. He didn’t open up new avenues of public discourse like NWA, or introduce the world to a new art form like Grandmaster Flash, or even meaningfully and memorably address social issues through his music like Marshall, Macklemore and Kendrick.”

Bob Ezrin went on to call Kanye West’s songwriting ability as “sophomoric at best.” He said that Kaye’s production skills aren’t even close to Timbaland and Rick Ruban’s talent and that Kanye’s artistic talents aren’t in the music industry.

“Instead Kanye’s greatest achievements have been in the form of excessive behavior, egomaniacal tantrums and tasteless grandstanding, What he is a true artist at is living his life out loud – and shoving it down the throats of the rest of us whether we give a shit or not. He’s like that flasher who interrupts a critical game by running naked across the field. Is that art???”

Apparently, when Kanye read Mr. Ezrin’s review, it lit a fuse in him, and he slammed the producer with Twitter posts. In the first message, Kanye asked his followers if they had ever heard of Bob Ezrin. In the next post, he wondered what knowledge Mr. Ezrin knew about rap music.

Kanye then took a stab at Bob’s age by tweeting, “I’m tired of old people that have no connection with anything trying to comment on music!”

Kanye told Bob Ezrin to never speak about him again. That should have ended his Twitter rage, but Kanye couldn’t stop tweeting. Kanye attacked Mr. Ezrin’s children in the next two posts.

“Your kids are ashamed of their dad… Sorry for speaking about kids… but could you imagine if you were Bob Ezrin’s kids.”

“I’m so sorry for them… I will send them free Yeezys to make up for the embarrassment that you have caused your family!”

Kanye West was on fire with Twitter messages slamming people, and he went back to his problem with Taylor Swift. Kanye bragged about making Dark Fantasy and Watch the Thrown in one year. He was furious because they were not nominated, but “you know who has 2 albums of the year.”

During what was to be an important night for Kanye West as he debuted songs from his supposedly finished album, he also showcased his new line of fashion designs. This left people wondering how good a fashion designer he is and what Anna Wintour could possibly see in his designs.

The staff at Vogue are upset because of all the attention their prestigious magazine is giving to Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West. The staff believes that Kim and Kanye are bringing their website down.

According to one source, “Vogue.com was the arbiter of style and class. Featuring Kim and Kanye on the website is just horrible for the brand. There was so much backlash after the April issue that the coverage should have been dialed back.It wasn’t and has only increased — just because Kim and Kanye are shameless self promoters doesn’t mean Vogue.com needs to jump on the bandwagon!”

Anna Wintour put Kim Kardashian West on the April cover of Vogue magazine, and Kim was voted as one of the best-dressed celebrities at the Vogue’s 2015 Met Gala.

Anna didn’t say much about Kanye’s designs when she attended the fashion shows at Madison Square Gardens.

However, she did say, “I wish the designers had taken a little bit more risks and the ones that did really stood out.”

Everyone knows that Kanye West does not handle criticism of any kind, but he is entertaining with his Twitter rants. Once again, his wife Kim Kardashian West is left to do damage control as she tries to save their social media images.
