Kendall Jenner ‘Freaking Out’ Over Madame Tussauds Wax Figure Of Herself

Kendall Jenner is reportedly “freaking out” over her wax figure, which is currently on display at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in London.

On January, Madame Tussauds announced that they will be opening a gallery dedicated to the behind-the-scenes action that happens during fashion week. The Fashion Week feature of the museum opened on February 8, just in time for the London Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2016 shows. Some lucky visitors were able to get a range of products from Lavazza, Toni & Guy, and Maybelline New York.

The fashion show display features wax figures of Kendall Jenner and her BFF Cara Delevingne. Of course, the catwalk wouldn’t be complete without the wax figure of American Vogue‘s Editor-in-Chief, Anna Wintour.

On Tuesday, 20-year-old Kendall Jenner visited her wax figure in London sporting a black ensemble that showed off her slender frame. As The Daily Mail reports, Kendall’s wax figure sits cross-legged in front of a make-up mirror, sporting a silk robe with matching black underwear underneath. The wax figure is wearing strappy black stilettos to match the wardrobe. Kendall Jenner posed beside her wax figure for pictures.

According to reports, both Kendall and Cara worked closely with the sculptors of Madame Tussauds to make sure that the wax figures are accurately done in their likeness. The sculptors worked with Kendall in L.A. and hundreds of measurements were done on the model. Around 20 artists worked on each of the wax figures, and the entire project took six months of planning, four weeks alone to recreate the trademark eyebrows of Cara Delevingne. Kendall seems to be happy with the results.

“At first I was really freaking out, but now we’re getting used to each other.”

Kendall’s BFF Cara may not be seen as much on catwalks this year, as she is concentrating on being an actress, but she is still very much part of the fashion world. Her wax figure was also revealed on Madame Tussauds’ Instagram account, where she is wearing a sequined dress by Yves Saint Laurent. Every detail of Cara is present on her wax figure, even the diamond tattoo on her ear and the stars behind her ear.

Anna Wintour, on the other hand, is displayed sitting on the front row of the catwalk, her usual spot during fashion shows.

Kendall Jenner is not the first member of her family to have a wax figure displayed at Madame Tussauds. Her sister, Kim Kardashian, and brother-in-law, Kanye West, also have wax figures in the museum.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wax figures were added to the museum last year, but not before the figures were taken to different tourist hotspots in London, including the London Eye, Big Ben, and the Tower Bridge, The Daily Mail reported. Kim’s figure is posed holding a cellphone while posing for a selfie beside her wax husband Kanye.

As Kendall said in her interview below with ODE, she visited her sister Kim’s wax figure and made sure to take a selfie with it.

Kendall Jenner is one of the highest-paid models today. She has graced the covers of several magazines including GQ and Vogue, and has been the face of fashion brands such as Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, and Mango. She is also one of Karl Lagerfeld’s muses. In addition, Kendall has walked countless runways for Micheal Kors, Vera Wang, Diane von Furstenberg, Chanel, and Victoria’s Secret.
