Harry Styles’ Groomer Deletes Photo Showing 1D Crooner’s New Haircut

Photographs of Styles with fans in London emerged this week. Loyal Directioners were quick to identify that his hair got shorter. Celebrity groomer Jason Schneidman also shared a snap of the British crooner on Instagram.

However, the photo has now been deleted, making some wonder if Styles asked Schneidman to remove it. The hair stylist is one of the go-to groomers of many male celebrities including Hugh Jackman, Rob Lowe, Bruno Mars, Jonah Hill, Bryan Cranston, and the One Direction boys’ close friend, James Corden.

Schneidman also groomed Payne recently. His Instagram page still has a video of Payne’s new look.

Since 2011, Directions have witnessed the evolution of Styles’ hair – from short curls to his recent below-the-shoulder locks. The “Drag Me Down” singer is also one of the few celebrities who introduced the “man bun.” Last December, Corden asked Styles if he’d consider cutting his hair. The latter said that he’d grow it long enough and donate it.

When the boys showed up last year at the Royal Variety Performance in London, Daily Mail reported that Prince Harry allegedly asked Styles, “When was the last time you had a haircut?” He responded, “At some point I’ll be cutting it for charity.” His remark is not surprising given his previous charity works that commonly went unreported.

Some are asking if Styles cutting his hair was an indirect response to Kendall Jenner’s supposed statement about his hygiene. The Victoria’s Secret model allegedly said in a Keeping Up with the Kardashians episode that she urged Styles to shower more often and use a bit of deodorant. However, a representative from Sony Music already clarified that Jenner did not mention anything about Styles in the show’s season finale.

“Harry wasn’t mentioned at all in the Kardashian finale last night… he hasn’t been mentioned on her show at all this season.”

It is possible that Styles had a “makeover” because the boys were initially expected to show up for the highly-anticipated BRIT Awards, but as per Heat, Styles might not attend, and Horan is still in Thailand with his friends. Should the boys take home the Best Video gong for “Drag Me Down,” it seems like Payne and Tomlinson are the only ones who will go on stage.

While Tomlinson has been spending most of his time in Los Angeles to be closer to his newborn son, Johannah Deakin indirectly confirmed on her Facebook account that they would show up for today’s event.

This year’s BRIT Awards will take place at London’s O2 Arena with duo Ant and Dec as hosts. Some of the artists who will be performing in the prestigious event include Adele, Coldplay, and Rihanna. The event will also have a tribute honoring icon David Bowie who passed away last month.

The One Direction boys have been nominated for the “British Group” category alongside Blur, Coldplay, Foals, and Years & Years. The group’s “Drag Me Down” is also included in the “British Music Video” nominations.
