Mariah Carey Planning More Babies With James Packer — What Does Nick Cannon Think?
Mariah Carey is allegedly looking to expand her family with fiancé James Packer.
According to a new report by Hollywood Life, Carey, 46, allegedly wants to have a third child with James – Carey is already mom to twins Moroccan and Monroe – and is looking to get started on trying for baby No. 3 after the couple tie the knot later this year.
“Mariah is ready to have more kids and she would love to have one with her fiancé, James,” a source close to Carey told Hollywood Life of Carey and Packer’s plans to have a baby, adding that Mariah and her fiancé would like to be married before they welcome another member into the family.
“[Mariah] wants to get married and look amazing for her wedding and then work on having the child. For both options the sooner the better,” the source continued to the site.
While Carey is mom to her twins, both 4, Packer also has children of his own from a previous relationship, meaning the betrothed couple are already parents to five children.

But while Mariah appears to planning to bring a new addition into her life, the source also revealed to the site that news of Carey’s baby plans have reached her ex-husband, Nick Cannon, who is allegedly “fine” with Mariah’s hopes for a new addition.
According to Hollywood Life‘s source, there’s no bad blood between the divorced couple, and things are so amicable between the two that Nick is incredibly supportive of Mariah’s alleged plans to have a baby with her soon-to-be husband.
“Nick is very happy for Mariah and if she wants more children then he is totally fine with it,” the insider revealed to the site this week, adding that Cannon and Carey have a “wonderful relationship” since they separated in 2014 and adding that Nick “doesn’t want to add any drama to the family they made.”
The news that Cannon is supporting Mariah in her new family plans with James Packer comes just one day after Nick took to Instagram to show a united front with Carey and the couple’s two kids.
Nick posted a shot of the group, including his mom, Beth Gardner, enjoying some family time on the social media site on February 22, where he told his more than 1 million followers that he and Mariah were having a “Nice Happy Family Day!!!” together, which appeared to include toys for their tots.
The America’s Got Talent host also captioned the sweet family photo with the hashtags “#RocandRoe” and “#Moms.”

Nick previously used the social media site to joke about Carey’s massive engagement last month when he hilariously referenced the huge 35-carat engagement ring Packer presented Mariah with in January, joking that it put him in a coma.
Posting a satire photo of himself lying in a hospital bed while Kevin Hart told him “It’s just a ring Nick,” Cannon told fans that the photo “made [him] laugh out loud for real!!! HILARIOUS!”
Nick Cannon then admitted in the photo’s caption that it was “all love” between himself and Mariah, writing, “Congrats to @MariahCarey and James! May God Bless Your Future Union… #GreatPeople #GreatCouple.”
Carey has also been speaking out about the giant rock, joking to E! News in January that the ring was so heavy that she could barely lift her arm.
“It’s so heavy I can’t lift my arm up!” Carey joked of her huge rock to E! News last month, describing her new engagement ring as being “a nice chunk.”
