Can Kanye West And Kim Kardashian West’s Marriage Survive Mansion Renovations And Kanye Pleading Poverty?

Divorce rumors continue to circulate around Kim Kardashian-West and Kanye West and, apparently, the escalating cost of renovations on their mansion is driving them further apart. Radar Online reported that the renovations on their multi-million dollar mansion, located in Hidden Hills, never seem to end.

“The project is a total nightmare! They both change their minds constantly.”

Kanye West is allegedly spending money as if he has plenty of it, which of course he does when combined with Kim Kardashian-West’s fortune. The couple’s worth when estimated together is around $150 million. However, when it comes to renovating their mansion, they have trouble making up their minds. Each time a renovation project is completed, Kanye and/or Kim decide the style is not right or the color is a shade off, which costs thousands of dollars to undo everything.

The source gave an example of an expenditure that Kanye and Kim had done in their entryway. “Kanye has had the floor in the entryway ripped out at least four times because he didn’t like the way the sun reflected off of the tiles. Each time the floor is taken out, it’s at least $25,000.”

Apparently, Kim Kardashian is letting Kanye do whatever he wants, but she is not giving him any of her money to do it with, a source told Radar Online.

“Kanye is paying for all of the renovations. Kim hasn’t volunteered to pay a dime, and has no problem spending his money. This stage of the project was slated to cost $5 million, but it’s way over budget. The figure has ballooned to over $10 million, and it’s still months away from being finished.”

Luckily, the couple has a home to live in as they wait for the renovations of their mansion to be completed if they ever are done. They are staying with Kim’s mother, Kris Jenner, and their move out date continues to be pushed back further. They have lived with Kris for so long that their daughter, North West, believes that is her home.

“They were supposed to be in the mansion by March, but are now being told it will be later this summer, or October. And that is only if there are no more changes! They could have been in the house by now. This all rests with Kanye.”

Kim is tired of waiting and she “just wants to move into the Hidden Hills house already, but Kanye insists on everything being absolutely perfect. In the meantime, living with Kris is continuing to take a toll on their marriage.”

Kim wanted to shift some of the negative publicity that she and Kanye have received to something happy, so she published a picture of their new son, Saint. The debut photo was released on the late Robert Kardashian’s birthday. Robert was Kim’s dad, and he would have been 72-years-old. Kim posted “Today is my dad’s birthday. I know there’s nothing more in the world he would have wanted than to meet his grandchildren. So I wanted to share this pic of Saint with you all.”

In 2013, Kim Kardashian-West and Kanye West bought a starter home in Bel Air for $11 million. They never moved into the mansion, but began extensive renovations, which included a Swarovski crystal covered refrigerator, four gold-plated toilets, and a million-dollar security system. They spent over $2 million in renovating it, but they were not happy with their results. They have the home listed for over $20 million.

Even though Kanye West is spending a ton of money, he is claiming poverty. Kanye even tweeted that he has $53 million in personal debt accumulated, while in another tweet he posted that he has enough money to buy his family furs and homes. However, it didn’t stop him from asking Mark Zuckerberg through Twitter for financial assistance by requesting him to invest $1 billion into his ideas. No word has come through on whether Mark has invested any money in Kanye or his ideas.
